Dibrugarh University, invites applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the post of Professor, Associate Professor, and Assistant Professor Vacancies in various disciplines. Candidates must fulfill the minimum eligibility criteria for consideration to be called for interview. Selected candidates will be on probation for a period of one year. Candidates shall be confirmed in the post on satisfactory completion of his/ her period of probation.
Professor- 05 vacancies in the scale of pay Rs. 37,400-67,000/- plus AGP Rs. 10,000/-
Associate Professor- 17 vacancies in the scale of pay Rs. 37,400-67,000/- plus AGP Rs. 10,000/-
Assistant Professor- 14 vacancies in the scale of pay Rs. 37,400-67,000/- plus AGP Rs. 10,000/-

Qualification: Master’s Degree in relevant discipline. Candidates should have good academic records as defined by the university. Candidates must have cleared the National Eligibility Test conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by UGC as SLET/ SET.
Note: Candidates who have awarded a Ph.D. Degree in accordance with the UGC Regulation 2009, shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/ SLET/ SET for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professor or equivalent position in universities/ Colleges/ Institutions. NET/ SLET/ SET shall not be required to such Master’s Programmes in discipline for which NET/ SLET/ SET is not conducted.
