Department of Rural Development and Panchayats, Government of Punjab, invites online applications from eligible candidates for recruitment of the posts of Junior Engineer in the scale of pay Rs. 10300-34800/- plus Grade Pay Rs. 4800/-. Selected candidates will be on probation for a period of two years.

Candidates must possess three years Diploma in Civil Engineering/ Electrical Engineering of the State Board of Technical Education or equivalent qualification ) from any other recognised institution. Candidates having Degree in Civil or Electrical Engineering may also apply.
Candidates having Punjabi of matriculation or its equivalent standard from any recognized Institution/ Board is essential.
Candidates should not be below 18 years and above 37 years of age as on 01-January-2016. However, relaxation in upper age limit applicable as per rules.
