Council of Scientific and Industrial Research-Institute of Minerals & Materials Techno (CSIR-IMMT), Bhubaneswar invites application from eligible candidates for recruitment of Scientist/ Senior Scientist, Principal Scientist/ Senior Principal Scientist.

  • Post Code- SO1: Scientist/ Senior Scientist – 22 Posts (UR-11, SC-3, ST-4, OBC-3 & PH(HH)-1)
  • Post Code- SO2: Scientist/ Senior Scientist – 02 Posts (UR-1 & SC-1)
  • Post Code- SO3: Principal Scientist/ Senior Principal Scientist – 02 Posts (UR-1 & SC-1)

Upper Age Limit:

  • Scientist/ Senior Scientist: 32 years/ 37 years
  • Principal Scientist/ Senior Principal Scientist: 45 years/ 50 years

Pay Scale:

  • Scientist: Rs.15600-39100/- (Pay Band- 3) plus Grade Pay Rs. 6600/-
  • Senior Scientist: Rs.15600-39100/- (Pay Band- 3) plus Grade Pay Rs. 7600/-
  • Principal Scientist: Rs. 37400-67000/- (Pay Band- 4) plus Grade Pay Rs. 8700/-
  • Principal Scientist: Rs. 37400-67000/- (Pay Band- 4) plus Grade Pay Rs. 8900/-

Mode of Selection: Selection will be made on the basis of interview.

Application Fee:

  • SC/ ST/ PH/ Women/ CSIR employees/ Abroad Candidates are exempted from payment of application fee.
  • For All other Category candidates: Rs.100/-
  • Candidates can make the payment in the form of crossed Demand Draft drawn on any nationalized bank valid for a period of three months in favour of “Director, CSIR-Institute of Minerals and Materials Technology” payable at the State Bank of India, RRL Campus Branch (Branch Code-7499), Bhubaneswar.
