Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission has recently announced recruitment of various Positions in various medical colleges of the state through a competent recruitment norm. With this announcement, the CG PSC intends to recruit Assistant Professors, Demonstrators, Registrar, Sr. Registrar, Junior Registrar, Senior Resident, Junior Resident, Assistant Professor (Dental College), Assistant Professor (Non-Clinical College, Dental College), Resident, Dental Surgeon, Assistant Professor (Nursing College), Demonstrator (Nursing College, Assistant Professor (Physiotherapy College), Demonstrator (Physiotherapy College), & Administrative Officer, under the Health & Family Welfare – Medical Education Department of the state for the year 2014. Applications are invited from eligible applicants with adequate qualification and experience.

Pay Provisions and Scale of Pay:
- Assistant Professors (Medical College): Pay Scale in PB-III in the range of Rs.15600 – Rs.39100 along with a Grade Pay of Rs.7000.
- Demonstrators/ Registrar/ Sr. Registrar/ Junior Registrar/ Senior Resident/ Junior Resident (Medical College): Pay Scale in PB-III in the range of Rs.15600 – Rs.39100 along with a Grade Pay of Rs.5400.
- Assistant Professor (Dental College, Clinical College, Non-Clinical College): Pay Scale in PB-III in the range of Rs.15600 – Rs.39100 along with a Grade Pay of Rs.6600.
- Resident/ Dental Surgeon (Dental College): Pay Scale in PB-III in the range of Rs.15600 – Rs.39100 along with a Grade Pay of Rs.5400.
- Assistant Professor (Nursing College/ Physiotherapy College): Pay Scale in PB-III in the range of Rs.15600 – Rs.39100 along with a Grade Pay of Rs.6600.
- Demonstrator (Nursing College/ Physiotherapy College): Pay Scale in PB-III in the range of Rs.15600 – Rs.39100 along with a Grade Pay of Rs.5400.
- Administrative Officer: Pay Scale in PB-II in the range of Rs.9300 – Rs.34800 along with a Grade Pay of Rs.4400.
- Other perks, allowances and facilities will be applicable as per the state government norms
Probation Period:
- The candidates selected for these posts will serve the Health & Family Welfare (Medical Education) Department of the state on a probation period of 2 years from the date of their joining.
Academic Eligibility & Experience:
- For All Medical Posts: The interested applicants must have completed Post-Graduation or Graduation Degree in Concerned Medical Specialty (MD/ MBBS/ PhD/ MSc/ equivalent) along with teaching experience in a Medical College/ Hospital. They must have been registered with appropriate state authority (State Medical Council) or Central Council.

Age of the Candidates:
- For Asst. Professor/ Demonstrator (Physiotherapy College) and Administrative Officer: The applicant should be above 21 years of age and must not have crossed maximum age of 40 years as on 01-Jan-2014.
- For All Other Posts: The applicant should be above 25 years of age and must not have crossed maximum age of 40 years as on 01-Jan-2014.
- For Scheduled categories (SC/ST & OBC) from the natives of Chhattisgarh, there will be relaxation as applicable as per the state government regulations.
Application fees:
- For the candidates belonging UR and OBC categories (from Chhattisgarh & from other states): Rs. 400 only
- For all others reserved categories (SC/ST, PWD, Ex-Servicemen from Chhattisgarh): Rs. 300 only
- These fees can be paid as per the detailed instructions available during Online Submission of Application.
- The fee concession will be applicable for reserved categories of Chhattisgarh State only. Other state candidates will be treated as Unreserved category.
- The candidates can apply for more than one post, but the fee will remain the same. They have to specify their preference as per the number of posts in the Online Application Form.
Selection Procedure:
- The selection for these posts will consist of scrutiny of candidature followed by a Personal Interview. The commission may conduct a written test for scrutiny of candidature.
- Candidates have to verify their original documents against their provided information before appearing in the Personal Interview.
- A merit list will be prepared as per the outcome of the Interview.
