Central Coalfields Limited (CCL) had a proud past as NCDC (National Coal Development Corporation) as it heralded the beginning of nationalization of coal mines in India. From its very beginning, NCDC addressed itself to the task of increasing coal production and developing new coal resources in the outlying areas, besides introducing modern and scientific techniques of coal mining. After the formation of CCL, it has become one of the five subsidiaries of Coal India Ltd. which was the first holding company for coal in the country.
Central Coalfields Limited has become a Category-I Mini-Ratna Company with coal production capacity of 47.08 million tones, with net worth amounting to Rs. 2644 crore against a paid-up capital of Rs. 940 crore (during 2009-10).
With the recent notification from the Central Coalfields Limited, there is an announcement for induction of various positions of Para-Medical Staff in Technical & Supervisory Grades.

Technician (Radiographer) – Trainee: 13 Posts (UR-08, OBC-01, SC-01 & ST-03)
Pharmacist (Trainee): 50 Posts (UR-25, OBC-06, SC-06 & ST-13)
Technician (Pathological) – Trainee: 22 Posts (UR-13, OBC-02, SC-02 & ST-05)
Physiotherapist – Trainee: 04 Posts (UR-03, & ST-01)
Technician (Dietician) – Trainee: 01 Post (UR)

Pay Scale & Remunerations:
- For Post No.-1, 2, 3, 4, 5 & 6: The candidates selected for these positions will be eligible to receive remuneration in the scale of Rs.19035.02 per month along with other allowances as per National Coal Wage Agreement (NCWA)-IX.
- For Post No.-7, 8 & 9: The candidates selected for these positions will be eligible to receive remuneration in the scale of Rs.17605.41 per month along with other allowances as per National Coal Wage Agreement (NCWA)-IX.
- Other allowances and perks will be applicable as per rules of Central Coal Fields Limited.
Educational Eligibility:
- Staff Nurse: The applicants must have completed 10+2 along with ‘A’ Grade Nursing Diploma or Certificate from a recognized institute.
- Technician (Radiographer) – Trainee: The applicants must have completed Diploma in Radiography or equivalent technology.
- Pharmacist (Trainee): The applicants must have completed 10+2 with Science and Diploma in Pharmacy. Must have registered with State Pharmacy Council/ any other Pharmacy Council.
- Technician (Pathological) – Trainee: The applicants must have completed Diploma in Pathological Technology or equivalent.
- Physiotherapist – Trainee: The applicants must have completed 3 years Diploma in Physiotherapy.
- Technician (Dietician) – Trainee: The applicants must have completed a Diploma in Dietics from a recognized institute.
- Technician (Audiometry) – Trainee: The applicants must have completed (10+2)/ Intermediate with Diploma in Audiometry. Should have at least 3 years of experience in concerned discipline.
- Technician (Refraction/Optometry) – Trainee: The applicants must have completed (10+2)/ Intermediate with Diploma in Refraction/ Optometry. Should have at least 3 years of experience in concerned discipline.
- Technician (Dental) – Trainee: The applicants must have completed (10+2)/ Intermediate with Diploma in Dentistry/ Dental Technology. Should have at least 3 years of experience in concerned discipline.
Age Specific Requirement:
- The candidates applying for these positions must have attained 18 years of age and should not have crossed max age of 30 years as on 17-Mar-2014.
- However, there will be relaxation in upper age limit as per rules for SC, ST, OBC, PWD & Ex-Sm candidates.
