The Convergence of Agricultural Interventions in Maharashtra’s Distressed District Programme- CAIM is an exclusive programme for the poor farmers of the Vidarbha region. The overall goal of the project is ‘to contribute to the development of resilient production, sustainable and diversified intervention over on-farm and off-farm livelihoods for supporting the poor farmers.
With the recent announcement of CAIM, there are certain vacancies of Executive Positions in the profiles of Additional Programme Director (APD), District Programme Manager (DPMT), Monitoring & Evaluation Officer (PMU/ DPMT-expected), Market Linkage Specialist (PMU) and Accounts Assistant in the CAIM. The recruitment of competent candidates will be done on Contractual Norms.

Pay Scale:
- Additional Programme Director (APD): The candidates selected for these posts will be eligible for a consolidated pay of Rs.900000 (Rupees Nine Lakhs) per year
- District Programme Manager (DPMT): The candidates selected for these posts will be eligible for a consolidated pay of Rs.546000 (Rupees Five Lakhs Forty-Six Thousand) per year
- Monitoring & Evaluation Officer (PMU): The candidates selected for these posts will be eligible for a consolidated pay of Rs.519000 (Rupees Five Lakhs Nineteen Thousand) per year
- Monitoring & Evaluation Officer (DPMT) (waiting): The candidates selected for these posts will be eligible for a consolidated pay of Rs.468000 (Rupees Four Lakhs Sixty-Eight Thousand) per year
- Market Linkage Specialist (PMU): The candidates selected for these posts will be eligible for a consolidated pay of Rs.519000 (Rupees Five Lakhs Nineteen Thousand) per year
- Accounts Assistant: The candidates selected for these posts will be eligible for a consolidated pay of Rs.240000 (Rupees Two Lakhs Forty Thousand) per year.
Academics & Experience:
- Additional Programme Director (APD): The candidates should have obtained a Post-Graduate Degree in Agricultural Economics, Economics, Management or comparable professional qualifications. Candidates must have at least 8 years of work experience in areas of agricultural economics or agronomy, agricultural engineering, agricultural extension, natural resources management including soil and water conservation. Candidates having experience in internationally funded programmes and rural development programme will be given preference.
- District Programme Manager (DPMT): The candidates should have obtained a Post-Graduate Degree in Agricultural Economics, Economics, Management or comparable professional qualifications. Candidates must have at least 7 years of work experience in areas of agricultural economics or agronomy, agricultural engineering, agricultural extension, natural resources management including soil and water conservation. Candidates having experience in rural development programme or having Management Degree will be given preference.
- Monitoring & Evaluation Officer (PMU): The candidates should have obtained a Post-Graduate university degree in Economics, Statistics, Finance or related fields and a minimum of 5 years experience in Monitoring & Evaluation functions.
- Monitoring & Evaluation Officer (DPMT) (waiting): The candidates should have obtained a Post-Graduate university degree in Economics, Statistics, Finance or related fields and a minimum of 5 years experience in Monitoring & Evaluation functions.
- Market Linkage Specialist (PMU): The candidates should have a PG Degree or PG Diploma, preferably MBA- Marketing or Agri-Business Management or Entrepreneurship Development with 5 years of total experience. Minimum 3 years of Relevant Experience at larger scale of Marketing & Linkages in Rural Development Sector at Managerial level. Knowledge of Marathi and MS-Office is desirable.
- Accounts Assistant: The candidates should have a full time Degree in Commerce and a minimum of 3 years Professional post-qualification experience. Candidates with relevant experience in Rural Development projects and aptitude for working in the rural areas will be given preference. Experience of Tally Accounting is essential. Knowledge of Marathi and MS-Office is desirable.
Mode Of Selection:
- The candidates will be selected on the basis of their CV and experience credential as presented to the selection committee and followed by a personal interview for these posts.
- The decision of CAIM will be final and binding on the candidates with regard to the selection.
