Assam State Level Police Recruitment Board, invites application from eligible candidates for recruitment of Armed Branch Constables in Assam Police. Recruitment rally will be conducted in the districts of Assam for selection of candidates for appointment as AB Constables against 6748 numbers of vacant posts.
Selected candidates shall be required to undergo basic police training. Candidates will be on probation for a period of one year which may be extended if required.

Age Limit:
Candidates age should not be less than 18 years, and not more than 25 years as on 01-January-2014.
Candidate must be born on or before 01-January-1996 and after 01-January-1989.
Educational Qualification:
Candidate should have passed HSLC/ Class X examination from a recognized Board.
Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20,200/- + Grade pay Rs. 2200/-per month + other allowances as admissible
Mode of Selection:
Selection will be made on the basis of Physical Standards Tests (PST), Physical Efficiency Tests (PET) of 60 marks, Written Test consist of 50 multiple choice type questions of 25 marks, Extra-curricular activities and special skills of 15 marks.
