Pathology is the branch of science which derived from Greek word which mean ‘suffering or feeling’. They deal with processes, development and curing of specific diseases. Specialized in Pathology will have thorough knowledge over inflammation, mechanism of cells and tissue, necrosis, neoplasia and wound healing etc. For examining the disease, treatment over organ, tissues and body fluids is taken into consideration. Pathology has been bifurcated in two part called Anatomical/Anatomic Pathology and Clinical Pathology.
An Anatomic pathologist assist surgeon at the time of operations by providing diagnosis on biopsies that are related to tissue surgeries. Whereas Clinical Pathologist oversea the lab tests to ensure that the blood and their products are safe. Their focus is on examining the micro organisms that can generate bacteria or infection in the body, which can be cured within time. The interested candidates those who want to start their career within the same must have specialization in any of it. Eligibility required is 12th with Science group from a recognized board or university with an aggregate of 50% of marks in each of them individually. Candidates those who are falling under the age group of 17 to 24 years are eligible to apply for graduate programs in Pathology. For getting into a best university, passing through the competitive entrance exam is a must. High scorer’s candidates in merit list will be offered the best colleges of State or Country. For pursuing post graduation, completing graduation in specific field is mandatory.
