West Bengal Health Recruitment Board (WBHRB) invites online applications from eligible candidates for recruitment of Food Safety Officer Posts in the cadre of West Bengal general service, UNDER Commissioner of Food Safety, Department of Health and Family Welfare, Government of West Bengal.
Food Safety Officer: 179 Vacancies, in the scale of pay Rs. 9000-40500/- with Grade Pay of Rs. Rs. 4400/-
Candidates will be selected on the basis of written exam and interview.

Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must possess Bachelor’s Degree in Food Technology or Dairy Technology or Biotechnology or Oil Technology Agricultural Science or Veterinary Science or Bio-Chemistry or Microbiology; OR Master Degree in Chemistry; OR Degree in Medicine from a recognised university.
Age Limit: Minimum 21 years and Maximum 36 years as on 01-January-2017. However, relaxation in upper age limit applicable as per rules.

For SC, ST & PWD from the state of West Bengal: Fees Exempted
For all others along with ST, ST from other states: Rs. 160/-
The payment of Application fees can be done through Online Net Banking or Offline through counters of any bank listed under Government Receipt Portal System in the head of account “0051-00-104-002-16”.
After payment to Bank, Candidates have to log in to the website with the log in ID and Password, already provided to them after registration through SMS/ Email for payment verification and filling up rest portion of the application form.
