Popularly known as Vizag Steel, Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited – Visakhapatnam Steel Plant is a leading public sector under Ministry of Steel. It is the very first steel plant based on sea shore.
Vizag steel has invited the applications from qualified and experienced Indian citizens for post of Operator-cum-Mechanic.
Nature of The Post:
The posts are only meant for male candidates. Duty of workers will involve 3 rotating shifts.
Total Number of Vacancies:
There are total number of 21 vacancies out of which 10 are for general, 7 for OBC, 3 for SC and 1 for ST candidates.

Eligibility Criteria:
Eligible candidate must have completed SSC or Metric with ITI or completed diploma of engineering along with driving license for heavy motor vehicle. He must also possess 3 years post qualification experience in material handling and earth moving. Relaxations will be provided as per rules of organisation.
Age Limit:
Upper age limit required for this post is 35 years for general, 38 years for OBC and 40 years for SC/ ST candidates.
Pay Scale
Pay scale offered to Operators is Rs. 9160 – 3% – Rs. 13150 and CTC will be Rs. 3.5 Lakhs per annum including all concerned allowances.

If a candidate deposits fee at branch other than SBI branch 6318, then he has to pay Rs. 25 as commission.
Selection Process:
Selection of eligible aspirants shall be done through written test, job test and interview conducted at Vishakhapatnam.
