UPSC Recruitment 2013 For Various Positions Through Advertisement Number 13/2013

Union Public Service Commission is the sole authority entrusted the task of competent selection of Group ‘B’ and Group ‘A’ positions in various departments under the Government of India. At various times, depending upon the requirement, the UPSC releases notifications for various positions under the Central Govern.

Through UPSC Examination Notification No. 13/2013, UPSC is inviting Online Recruitment Applications (ORA) from eligible candidates to join in the Central Govt under various departments and ministries.

Vacancy No. 13091301414: Assistant Foreign Language Examiner (AFLE) in Intelligence Bureau, Ministry of Home Affairs – Total 2 Positions (UR) – Education & Experience – Bachelor’s degree in Chinese or Japanese with English as a compulsory or elective subject Or, Advance Diploma in a Chinese or Japanese – Desirable– One year’s experience in teaching or translation from Chinese or Japanese to English or vice Versa and Diploma or Certificate in a foreign language other than Chinese or Japanese.
2. Vacancy No. 13091302414: Principal Library & Information Officer in Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration – Total 1 Position (UR-PWD) – Education & Experience – Master’s Degree in Library Science with 12 years’ experience in a library of standing – Desirable – 5 years’ experience in computerisation/modernization of a Library of Standing.
3. Vacancy No. 13091303414: Deputy Director (Non-Technical) in Office of the Textiles Commissioner, Mumbai – Total 2 Positions (UR-1, SC-1) – Education & Experience – Degree from a recognized institute/University. Must have about 10 years experience of a responsible capacity of work connected with Handloom or Textile Industry or Commerce or Industry in General together with Secretariat/Organizational Administrative experience – Desirable – Knowledge and experience in the field of Commerce/ Transport/Marketing of Textile Handlooms along with a Degree in Law is desirable.

Plan of Examination:

The Selection Examination will consist of a Written Test and followed by a round of personal Interview. The final selection will be based on the performance in these two examinations

Pay Scale:

The applicants selected for various posts will be considered under the Pay Scale with various of Grade Pays as per the nature of the posts. Candidates are advised to refer to the detailed advertisement to know the exact details.

Age Requirement (as on closing date):

• Not exceeding 50 years for the posts at Item Nos. 2, 8, 9, 10 and 11.
• Not exceeding 45 years for the posts at Item Nos. 3, 12, 13 and 14.
• Not exceeding 40 years for the posts at Item Nos. 1 and 6.
• Not exceeding 35 years for the posts at Item Nos. 4 and 5.
• Not exceeding 30 years for the posts at Item No. 7

Application Fee:

• All applicants (except Female/ SC/ ST/ PH Candidates who are exempted from payment of fee) are required to pay a fee of Rs. 25/- (Rupees Twenty-five only) either by remitting the money in any Branch of SBI by Cash, or by using net banking facility of State Bank of India or any of its associate banks by using Visa/ Master Credit/ Debit Card.
• For SC, ST, Women, PH candidates: fees exempted
• For OBC Male candidates the fees will be full and there is no relaxation in fees for OBC male candidates
