UPSC Recruitment 2013 For Various Positions Through Advertisement No. 9/ 2013

Union Public Service Commission as the central level nodal agency for recruitment and commissioning of higher cadre posts (Group B and Group A) in the Government of India, is presently in the process of selection of candidates for various positions. Through UPSC Examination Notification No. 09/2013, UPSC is inviting Online Recruitment Applications (ORA) from eligible candidates to join in the Central Govt under various departments and ministries.

10.  Vacancy No. 13070910113: Assistant Medical Officer in Ordnance Factory Board, Department of Defence Production, Ministry of Defence – Total 76 Positions (SC-3, ST-7, OBC-28 and UR-38) – Education & Experience – Good academic record with MBBS and completion of compulsory internship.

Plan of Examination:

The Selection Examination will consist of a Written Test and followed by a round of personal Interview. The final selection will be based on the performance in these two examinations

Pay Scale:

The applicants selected for various posts will be considered under the Pay Scale of PB-II and PB-III with different various of Grade Pays as per the nature of the posts. Candidates are advised to refer to the detailed advertisement to know the exact details.

Age Requirement (as on closing date):

1. Not exceeding 50 years for the posts at Item Nos.1, 2, 22, 31 (for SC/ST), 36 and 37 (in detailed advt)
2. Not exceeding 48 years for the posts at Item Nos. 31 (for OBC)
3. Not exceeding 45 years for the posts at Item Nos. 14, 15, 16, 29, 30, 32, 33, 34, 35, 38,39,40, 41,42,43,44,45,46,47,48,49,50 and 51.
4. Not exceeding 40 years for the posts at Item Nos.8,9,12 and 20
5. Not exceeding 38 years for the post at Item No.5.
6. Not exceeding 35 years for the posts at Item Nos.3, 4, 6, 7, 11, 13,17, 18, 21(for SC), 23, 24, 25, 26, 27 and 28.
7. Not exceeding 33 years for the post at Item No.21 (OBC)

Application Fee:

• All applicants (except Female/ SC/ ST/ PH Candidates who are exempted from payment of fee) are required to pay a fee of Rs. 25/- (Rupees Twenty-five only) either by remitting the money in any Branch of SBI by Cash, or by using net banking facility of State Bank of India or any of its associate banks by using Visa/ Master Credit/ Debit Card.
• For SC, ST, Women, PH candidates: fees exempted
• For OBC Male candidates the fees will be full and there is no relaxation in fees for OBC male candidates
