Uttarakhand Power Corporation Limited (UPCL) invites online applications from eligible candidates for direct recruitment for appointment to the positions for Personnel Officer, Accounts Officer, Law Officer, Assistant Engineer (Trainee) E&M, Assistant Engineer (Trainee) Civil, and Senior Industrial Engineer. Candidates will be selected on the basis of written test followed by interview.
Assistant Engineer (Trainee) in Electrical and Electronics or Mechanical Disciplines: 72 vacancies
Assistant Engineer (Trainee) in Civil Discipline: 07 vacancies
Personnel Officer: 08 vacancies
Senior Industrial Engineer: 01 vacancy
Accounts Officer: 15 vacancies
Law Officer: 02 vacancies

Qualification:
Assistant Engineer (Trainee): Candidates must possess Bachelor’s degree in relevant engineering discipline with minimum 65% marks or equivalent grade (pass marks for SC/ ST category candidates of Uttarakhand State and Departmental Candidates) from recognized university; or should have completed AMIE Sections A&B examination.
Personnel Officer- Candidates must possess Post Graduate Degree or equivalent in Personnel management/ Industrial relations/ Business management with specialization in Personnel management from a recognised institute. Candidates should have minimum five years post qualification experience.
Accounts Officer: Candidates must possess CA or ICWA or MBA in Finance or equivalent qualification. Candidates having two years post qualification experience will get preferred.
Law Officer: Candidates must be Law Graduate, and have minimum five years post qualification experience.
Senior Industrial Engineer- Candidates must possess Bachelor’s degree in engineering discipline with post graduate degree in industrial engineering. Candidates should have minimum seven years post qualification experience.
Note: Candidates should have knowledge of Hindi in Devnagari Script.
Age Limit: Minimum 21 years and Maximum 42 years as on 01-January-2021. Relaxation in upper age limit applicable as per government orders.
Pay Scale: Pay Matrix Level- 11 for Senior Industrial Engineer, and Pay Matrix Level- 10 for Personnel Officer, Accounts Officer, Law Officer, Assistant Engineer (Trainee) E&M, Assistant Engineer (Trainee) Civil Positions

Rs. 400/- for SC/ ST category candidates of Uttarakhand State
Rs. 800/- for General/ OBC/ EWS candidates
