UCIL Advt.No.03/2016- Uranium Corporation of India Limited (UCIL) invites applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the post of Diploma Trainee, Operational Trainee, Helper, and Laboratory Technician. Candidates will be selected on the basis of Written Test and Trade Test.
Candidates selected for Diploma Trainee (Instrumentation), and Operational Trainee (Fitter) will be on training for a period of one year with a Consolidated monthly stipend of Rs.24447/- per month for Diploma Trainee (Instrumentation), and Rs.20157/- per month for Operational Trainee (Fitter). On successful completion of training period, the trainee may be considered for absorption in the service.
Diploma Trainee (Instrumentation): 01 vacancy in the scale of pay Rs. 11510-17930/-
Operational Trainee (Fitter): 05 vacancies in the scale of pay Rs. 9490-14800/-
Helper-C (Jambo Drill): 04 vacancies in the scale of pay Rs. 9490-14800/-
Laboratory Technician-C: 01 vacancy in the scale of pay Rs. 10590-16500/-

Educational Qualification:
Diploma Trainee: Candidates must possess three years Diploma in Instrumentation/ Electronics and Communication Engineering from a Government recognized Engineering College/ Institution with minimum 60% marks (aggregate).
Operational Trainee: Candidates must have passed Matriculation/ SSLC examination, and have National Trade Certificate in the Trade of Fitter with minimum 60% marks in aggregate ( 55% marks in aggregate for ST candidates). Candidates should have one year Trade Apprenticeship training in any industry and passed in NAC examination conducted by National Council for Vocational Training in Fitter Trade (NCVT).
Helper-C: Candidates must have passed matriculation, and have minimum three years working experience as Jumbo Operation Trade in any Mining Industry. Candidates should possess minimum one year authorization certificate from Mines Manager for operation of Jumbo Drill.
Laboratory Technician: Candidates must possess B.Sc. with Microbiology or I.Sc. with Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology and three years working experience as laboratory technician in any large hospital/ Medical Institution.
Upper Age Limit: 30 years for Diploma Trainee, Operational Trainee, and Helper positions; and 35 years for Laboratory Technician position as on 30-April-2016. However, relaxation in upper age limit applicable as per government norms.
Application Fee: Rs. 50/- for Candidates belonging to General/ OBC category
Applicants are suggested to pay the application fee in form of Demand Draft drawn in favour of ‘Uranium Corporation of India Limited’ payable at State Bank of India, Jaduguda. SC/ ST/ Female/ Handicapped candidates are exempted from payment of application fees.
