Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC), invites applications from eligible candidates for recruitment of Prohibition & Excise Constable in Department of Excise in the State of Telangana. Candidates will be selected on the basis of written examination of 150 marks of General Knowledge and Secretarial Abilities Paper; to be held at Adilabad, Karimnagar, Warangal, Khammam, Hyderabad, Ranga Reddy, Nizamabad, Mahaboobnagar, Medak and Nalgonda.
Preliminary Qualifying Test (PQT) and Physical Efficiency Test(PET) will be conducted after the Written Examination for those candidates who come up in Merit. Candidates should also qualify in PQT and PET to be eligible to get selected.

Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed Intermediate or its equivalent examination. Candidates must also have fulfill minimum required physical standards.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and Maximum 28 years as on 01-July-2016. Relaxation in upper age limit as per government rules.
Pay scale: Rs. 15,460-47,330/-
Application and Examination Fees: Rs. 280/- [Rs. 200/- as Online Application Processing Fee + Rs. 80/- as Examination Fee] Unemployed applicants in the age group of 18 to 44 years, and SC, ST, BC, PH & Ex-Service Men candidates belonging to Telangana State are exempted from payment of Examination Fee. So, have to pay Rs. 80/- only as Online Application Processing Fee.
