SAIL, a Maharatna Company, invites applications from eligible candidates for recruitment of 142 posts of Management Trainee (Technical) and 60 posts of Management Trainee (Administration) in E-1 grade; posted to any Plant/Unit location of the Company.
Selected candidates for the post of Management Trainees, will be on training for a period of one year. On successful completion of training of one year, the Management Trainees will be designated as Junior Managers in the pay scale of Rs.24900-50500/-; and placed under probation for one year.

Candidates must possess Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with 60% marks, with minimum two years full time MBA/ PG Diploma in Management with minimum 60% marks in relevant discipline.

Candidates must possess Bachelor’s Degree in engineering discipline with 65% marks.
Upper age Limit: 28 years as on 14-June-2019.
5 years of relaxation in upper age limit for SC/ ST category candidates, 3 years of relaxation in upper age limit for OBC category candidates, and 10 years of relaxation in upper age limit for Physically Disabled candidates.
Selection Process:
- For MT (Administration)- Candidates will be selected on the basis of objective type written test, followed by Group Discussion, and Interview.
- For MT (Technical)- Candidates will be selected on the basis of GATE 2019 Score, followed by Group Discussion, and Interview.
Note: Candidates shortlisted on the basis of their performance in the Written Test will be called for Group Discussion, and Interview.

For General and OBC category candidates: Rs. 700/-
For SC/ ST/ PWD/ Departmental candidates: Rs. 100/-
