Rajasthan State Road Transport Corporation (RSRTC) is one of the most vital government machinery under the Rajasthan State Government. Established in the year 1964, the RSRTC is functioning as the Principal Transport Organisation in the State for providing economic, adequate, punctual and efficient services to the travelling public in the state. Currently the RSRTC is ferrying 4500 buses across 46 depots and plying more than 16 lac kilometers while carrying more than 9 lac passengers per day.
With the recent announcement the RSRTC has notified for recruitment of various posts for the year 2013. The recruitment will follow the norms of RSRTC under the Rajasthan State Government Service. Applications are invited from eligible applicants with adequate qualification and experience.

There will be reservation for SC, ST, OBC and other deserving candidates as per the regulations of RSRTC
Pay Scale:
- Driver: The selected candidates will receive monthly remuneration of Rs.7900 in the scale of Rs.5200 – Rs.202000 and a grade Pay of Rs.2400
- Conductor: The selected candidates will receive monthly remuneration of Rs.7900 in the scale of Rs.5200 – Rs.202000 and a grade Pay of Rs.2400
- Artisan Grade-II: The selected candidates will receive monthly remuneration of Rs.7900 in the scale of Rs.5200 – Rs.202000 and a grade Pay of Rs.2400
- Artisan Grade-III: The selected candidates will receive monthly remuneration of Rs.6400 in the scale of Rs.5200 – Rs.202000 and a grade Pay of Rs.2000
- Other allowances and facilities will be offered as per rules of the RSRTC norms.
Essential eligibility Conditions:
Age:
- The candidates applying for these posts must be over 18 years and must not have attained more than 35 years of age as on 1-Jan-2014.
- However, the relaxation in upper age limit will be applicable as per the rules only for the natives of Rajasthan State. The relaxation in upper age limit for PWD candidates will be valid for all applicants.
Academics:
- Traffic Inspector: The candidates must have completed a Graduation Degree in any discipline
- Assistant Traffic Inspector: The candidates must have completed a Graduation Degree in any discipline
- Junior Engineer ‘A’: The candidates must have completed a BE/ BTech Degree in Automobile/ Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering
- Junior Engineer ‘B’: The candidates must have completed a Diploma/ BE/ BTech Degree in Automobile/ Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering
- Junior Law Officer: The candidates must have completed a Graduation Degree in Law
- Labour Welfare Inspector: The candidates must have completed a Graduation Degree in Law OR, Graduation Degree with Degree/ Diploma/ Labour Welfare Certificate in Social Welfare/ Labour Law, OR, Post-Graduate Degree in Sociology/ Economics/ Social Work with a special paper in relation to Labour
- Junior Accountant: The candidates must have completed a Graduation Degree with Statistics/ Economics/ Mathematics/ Commerce or Science with Mathematics as a subject. Must have ‘O’ Level computer qualification and Should have typing efficiency of 5000 key depressions per hour.
- Computor: The candidates must have completed a Graduation Degree in any discipline
- Sub-Inspector (Stores): The candidates must have completed a Diploma in Automobile/ Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering
- Junior Clerk: The candidates must have completed Higher Secondary/ Senior Higher Secondary with ‘O’ level computer course or any other equivalent computer proficiency course as recognized by the state or central government or form a reputed institution.

Application Fees:
- For UR, SBC and OBC category: Rs.700
- For all others (SC, ST) from the state of Rajasthan: Rs.175
- The fees can be remitted in cash at any of the designated offices (list available at the website of RSRTC) in cash through the cash challan. The candidates have to take any proof of age (Certificate/ Marksheet) to deposit the fees.
Selection Procedure:
- The selection of candidates will be done through a Online Written Test, and Personal Interview (if required).
- Only those candidates selected on the basis of merit will be allowed for recruitment
