WBPSC Advertisement No. 6/2018- Public Service Commission, West Bengal invites applications from interested and eligible candidates for recruitment of Junior Civilian Finger Print Expert in the Finger Print Bureau, C.I.D Under the Home & Hill Affairs Department, Police Establishment Branch, Govt. of W.B.
Junior Civilian Finger Print Expert- 28 Vacancies, in the scale of pay Rs. 9,000/- – Rs.40,500/- with Grade Pay of Rs. 4,400/-
Candidates will be selected on the basis of written test (objective type of 200 marks, 2:30 hours duration) and interview of 100 marks.
The selected candidate shall be on probation for three years.
On satisfactory service in FPB, CID, WB, candidate shall have to pass the All India Board Examination of Finger Print Expert conducted by the CFPB, Government of India, New Delhi, so as to be declared as a Finger Print Expert.

Closing date for receipt of online application: The 3rd April, 2018
Last date of fees payment: The 3rd April, 2018
Offline payment of fees can be made up to the 4th April, 2018 at any branches of UBI. However, the Challan for making the payment in bank should be generated by the 3rd April, 2018.
Qualification- Candidates must be a Graduate in Science from any recognized University of India having with ‘Basic Knowledge in Computer’. Candidates must have fulfill required physical standards.
Age Limit– The candidate must have attained the age of 21 years but not more than 36 years on 01-Jan-2018.
Application Fee:
Rs. 160/- + Service Charge 1% of Examination Fee subject to a minimum of Rs.5/- plus 18% G.S.T. on convenience fee for online payment through debit/credit cards;
Convenience fee of Rs. 5/- (Rupees Five) only plus 18% G.S.T. on convenience fee for online payment through net banking;
Service Charge of Rs. 20/- (Rupees Twenty) only for offline payment through bank counter.
SC/ ST candidates of West Bengal, and Persons with disabilities (PWD) having physical disability of 40% and above are not required to pay any fee.
