PPSC Recruitment Advertisement No. 2022111 Punjab Public Service Commission, invites application from eligible candidates for recruitment of post of Agriculture Development Officer (ADO) in the Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Government of Punjab.
Agriculture Development Officer (Group A)- 200 Vacancies
Candidates will be selected on the basis of Written Competitive Examination of 480 Marks (120 Questions- 100 Questions from the subject and 20 Questions from General Knowledge Questions & Current Affairs, Logical Reasoning, Mental Ability & Quantitative Aptitude) followed by Interview of 60 Marks.
The Written Competitive Exam will be of two hours duration.

Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and Maximum 37 years as on 01-January-2022. However, relaxation in upper age limit applicable as per rules.
Pay Scale:
Rs. 44900/- as initial pay for Agriculture Development Officer Posts
Qualification:
Agriculture Development Officer- Candidates must Posses Degree of B. Sc. (Agriculture) with minimum 60% marks, from a recognized University or Institution.
Candidates possesses a degree in M.Sc. (Agriculture), from a recognized University or Institution, will be preferred.
Candidates must have passed matriculation examination with Punjabi as one of the compulsory or elective subject or any other equivalent examination in Punjabi Language.
The candidates MUST possess the requisite qualification before or by 29-Dec-2022.
Application Fees:
Rs. 500/- for Ex-Serviceman, Economically Weaker Section (EWS), Persons with Disabilities (PWD) and Lineal Descendents of Ex-Serviceman (LDESM) of Punjab State
Rs. 750/- for Scheduled Castes/ Scheduled Tribes of all States and Backward Classes of Punjab State only
Rs. 1500/- for All Others
Candidates are suggested to pay the application fee through online mode.

The candidates are not suggested to send the hard copy of the Online Application Form to the Office of Punjab Public Service Commission.
