Pay Scale: Pay Level- 8 for Physical Education Teacher and Pay Level- 9 for All Other Positions
Age Limit: Minimum 21 years and Maximum 38 years as on 01-Jan-2022. However, relaxation in upper age limit applicable as per government orders.
Selection Procedure: Candidates will be selected on the basis of
Stage 1: Preliminary Examination (Objective Type, MCQ)- 100 Marks
General Studies- (Indian Constitution, Indian Economy, Indian and World Geography, History of India, History of Odisha, General issues of Environment or Climate change – 10th Standard)-30 Questions/ 30 Marks.
Arithmetic -10th Standard-20 Questions/ 20 Marks
Logical Reasoning and Analytical Ability, General Mental Ability 20 Questions/ 20 Marks.
Computer/Internet Awareness- 20 Questions/ 20 Marks.
Current events of National / International Importance- 10 Marks
Stage 2: Main Written Examination (Objective Type, MCQ)- 150 Marks

Graduation in Arts/ Commerce or a Shastri (Sanskrit) Degree from a recognized university with 50% marks in aggregate and Bachelor in Education (B. Ed)/ 3-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed. from an NCTE recognized Institution OR Four-year Integrated B.A. B.Ed. from an NCTE recognized Institution having 50% marks in aggregate.

Graduation in Science/ B. Tech./ B.E. from a recognized university having 50% marks in aggregate and Bachelor in Education (B. Ed)/ 3-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed. from an NCTE recognized Institution OR Four-year Integrated B. Sc. Graduation from a recognized University with Hindi as one of the electives/ Optional/ Pass/ Honours subjects with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.
Candidates must possess Hindi Shikshan Parangat from Kendriya Hindi Sansthan, Agra; OR B.H.Ed., a course prescribed by NCTE, from a recognized University/ institution; OR B.Ed in Hindi, a course prescribed by NCTE, from Dakshin Bharat Hindi Prachar Sabha, Madras; OR B.Ed from NCTE. OR Graduation from a recognized University with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.
Sanskrit Teacher- 723 Vacancies
Graduation with Sanskrit as one of the electives/ optional/ Honours/ pass subjects from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and Shiksha Shastri (Sanskrit) a course prescribed by NCTE, from a recognized University/ Institution. OR Shastri (Sanskrit) with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized university and Shiksha Shastri (Sanskrit), a course prescribed by NCTE, from a recognized University institution.
Physical Education Teacher- 841 Vacancies
10+2 or its equivalent examination from a recognized institution and C.P.Ed./ B.P.Ed./ M.P.Ed from a recognized Board/ University.
