Discipline wise Number of Vacancies: Physics- 60 Posts, Chemistry- 68 Posts, Botany- 62 Posts, Zoology- 57 Posts, Geology- 06 Posts, Statistics- 05 Posts, Anthropology- 05 Posts, Geography- 05 Posts, Education- 07 Posts, Home Science- 08 Posts, Psychology- 11 Posts
Candidates will be selected on the basis of Written Examination of 100 Marks, and Verification of Certificates.
Qualification: Candidates must possess Bachelor Degree with Honours in respective practical subjects from recognized University.
Age Limit: Minimum 21 years and Maximum 32 years as on 01-January-2018. However, relaxation in upper age limit applicable as per rules.
Scale of Pay: Rs. 16880/- per month as per Odisha Group B Posts Rule.
Application Fee: Candidates other than SC/ST will have to pay the fees of Rs. 200/- through Online mode or through the conventional treasury challan in favor of “0051-PSC-104-UPSC/SSC-Examination Fees-0047-Fees Collected For Conducting Examination-02041-Examination Fee”. The fees can also be deposited through preferred bank challans as available at the website of the Odisha SSC, SC/ ST candidates are exempted from paying any fees.
