Odisha PSC Recruitment 2019 For The Posts Of Assistant Conservator of Forests under Odisha Forest and Environment Department- With the recent requirement from the State Forest and Environment Department, the OPSC invites applications from competent candidates for selection of 25 numbers of Assistant Conservator of Forests in “Group-A” under Forest and Environment Department. The selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of written examination of 1400 marks, followed by physical test and Viva-Voice of 150 marks.

Essential Eligibility Factors:
Minimum Educational Qualification: Candidates must have possessed a Bachelor’S Degree with Chemistry or Botany or Geology or Mathematics or Physics or Statistics or Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry abd Zoology; OR a Bachelor’S Degree in Agriculture/ Forestry or in Engineering from a recognized University/ institution.
Native Language Proficiency: The candidate should be able to speak, read and write Odia and should have had Odia as a subject in the Upper Primary (M.E) or any equivalent examination failing which he/she shall be required to pass an examination in Odia of Upper Primary ( Middle School) standard during his/ her period of probation.
Age Limit: The candidates must have achieved the minimum age of 21 years and should not have reached max 32 years as on 01-January-2019. Relaxation in upper age limit applicable as per rules. Proof of age is to be submitted in terms of matriculation certificate or school leaving certificate.
Pay Scale: Pay Matrix Level- 12

Candidates are suggested to pay the application fee through online payment challan. SC/ ST candidates from the state of Odisha and PWD candidates (with more than 40% disability) are exempted from paying any fees.
