Minimum Qualification Required:
The candidate must have passed Matriculate or equivalent exam from any recognized Board of Exam and possess Valid Mining Sirdar Certificate of competency issued by DGMS under Coal Mines Regulation 2017 or any other certificate in Mining that entitles the applicant to work as Mining Sirdar as per Coal Mines Regulation 2017. Valid Gas Testing Certificate and Valid First Aid Certificate.

Having Valid Overman’s certificate of competency issued by DGMS under Coal Mines Regulation 2017 or any other certificate in Mining that entitle the applicant to work as Mining Sirdar as per Coal Mines Regulation 2017. Valid Gas Testing Certificate and Valid First Aid Certificate.
Matriculation and Surveyors’ Certificate of Competency (SCC) granted under CMR’2017 or any other certificate in mining that entitles the applicant to work as a Surveyor in mines as per Coal Mines Regulation 2017.
Degree or Diploma in Mining/ Mine Surveying Engineering from any recognized Institute. Surveyors’ Certificate of Competency (SCC) granted under CMR’2017 or any other certificate in mining that entitles the applicant to work as a Surveyor in mines as per Coal Mines Regulation 2017.
Age Limit: Minimum age limit is 18 years and maximum age limit is 30 years as on 22-December-2022. However, relaxation in upper age limit for reserved category is applicable as per government rules.
Pay Scale: Rs. 34391.65/- per month for Grade B Post; Rs. 31852.56/- per month for Grade C Post.
Application Fee: Rs. 1180/- for Unreserved (UR)/ OBC Non-Creamy Layer/ EWS candidates. SC/ ST/ PwBD/ ESM/ Departmental Candidates are exempted from payment of application fee.
Mode of Selection: The candidate will be selected based on the Written test [100 Marks of 90 Minutes Duration].

Northern Coalfields Limited was incorporated in 1984 as a subsidiary of Coal India Limited. Earlier it was one of the subsidiaries of Central Coalfields Limited. One of the major producers of coal in India NCL has its headquarters at Singrauli, Madhya Pradesh. It is one of the top public limited units and has been awarded with the title of Miniratna by government of India. This company works under the compliance of ISO 9001:2000 certification that was awarded to the company in December, 2008. It is also planning to prepare an integrated management system which will work in compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, and SA 8000 standards.
NCL is engaged in operating 10 coal mines namely Amlohri, Block-B, Bina, Dudhichua, Jayant, Jhingurdah, Kakri, Khadia, Krishnashila and Nigahi. These coal mines are spread in entire region of Singrauli. NCL is estimated to have produced about 69.62 million of coal till 2009. Though it produces coal through opencast mines but NCL is also committed towards the environmental protection. It has greatly contributed towards the protection and development of environment by establishing the integrated management system based on various standards. With help of its community development program it has also contributed towards the betterment of quality of life, self employment schemes, helping local tribes, providing health care and education.
