NBCC Recruitment 2013 For Various Managerial and Engineering Cadre Positions

Incorporated in the year 1960, NBCC (National Building & Construction Corporation) is a wholly owned Government of India Enterprise operating under the Ministry of Urban Development, Government of India. This company has been listed on the BSE and NSE as well, and has attained the status of Category-I, Miniratna PSU providing construction services in three major categories such as Project Management Consultancy, EPC Contract and Real Estate Development and construction business. Certified with ISO 9001:2008 status, NBCC has recorded an annual turnover of more than 13000 Crore by March 2013. Getting a job with this category-I Miniratna is a dream for many youth today and NBCC is also fostering that dream to become a reality through their continuous process of Human resource acquisition through various advertisements.

With the recent announcement from the NBCC, there is an announcement for filling up competent positions in the scale of DGM to Assistant Managers.

The details of the vacancies and the criteria for selection are detailed as under:

Details of the Vacancies:

1. Deputy General Manager (Finance) – E-4 Grade – 03 position (UR-01, OBC-01)
2. Sr. Project Executive (Civil) – E1 Grade – 07 Positions (UR-03, SC-01, OBC-02, PWD(HH)-01)
3. Project Executive (Civil) – E0 Grade – 08 Positions (UR-04, SC-01, ST-01, OBC-01, PWD(HH)-01)
4. Junior Engineer (Civil) – S2 Grade – 15 Positions (UR-12, OBC-01, PWD(HH)-01, Ex-Serviceman-01)
5. Assistant Manager (Finance) – E1 Grade – 05 Positions (UR-04, OBC-01)
6. Assistant Manager (HR) – E1 Grade – 02 Positions (UR-01, PWD(VH-LV)-01)

Important dates:

• Starting Date of Submission of Online Application: 14-May-2013

Academic Eligibility & Experience:

1. Deputy General Manager (Finance) – Associate Member of ICA/ ICWA with 8 years of experience out of which minimum 2 years in IDA Scale of Rs.24900-Rs.50500 or equivalent in a government/ non-government reputed organization
2. Sr. Project Executive (Civil) – Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering with min 60% of marks with 2 years of experience in similar capacity
3. Project Executive (Civil) – Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering with min 60% of marks
4. Junior Engineer (Civil) – Three years Diploma in Civil Engineering with min 60% of marks
5. Assistant Manager (Finance) – ICA/ ICWA or MBA (Finance) with 1 year experience for ICA/ICWA or 2 years experience for MBA (Finance) in project / Corporate Accounting
6. Assistant Manager (HR) – Full time MBA/ MSC/ 2 years PG-Diploma with specialization in HR with 2 years experience in functional capacities

Age Specific Requirements (as on 01-June-2013):

1. Deputy General Manager (Finance) – Should not exceed 35 years
2. Sr. Project Executive (Civil) – Should not exceed 28 years
3. Project Executive (Civil) – Should not exceed 25 years
4. Junior Engineer (Civil) – Should not exceed 22 years
5. Assistant Manager (Finance) – Should not exceed 28 years
6. Assistant Manager (HR) – Should not exceed 28 years

However, the maximum age limit can be extended further for privileged categories as per rules of the central government.

Pay Provisions:

The applicants will be inducted in the following scales:

• Deputy General Manager (Finance) – Rs.24900 – Rs.54500 in IDA pattern
• Sr. Project Executive (Civil) – Rs.16400 – Rs.40500 in IDA pattern
• Project Executive (Civil) – Rs.12600 – Rs.32500 in IDA pattern
• Junior Engineer (Civil) – Rs.9700 with Annual Increment of 3%
• Assistant Manager (Finance) – Rs.16400 – Rs.40500 in IDA pattern
• Assistant Manager (HR) – Rs.16400 – Rs.40500 in IDA pattern
