Maha Vitaran (Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited) is India’s biggest Power Distribution Company having over 1.96 Crores consumers and dedicated pool of over 70,000 employees with Annual Revenue of over Rupees 34,000 Crore. As the Central Power Distribution Company of one of the most important states of India, this company has a greater responsibility to provide power to the entire state, which is also famous for the financial capital of India, the city of films and movies as well as one of the largest producers of agricultural products in India.
With the present initiative from Maha Vitaran, a notice has been served for induction of Various in Cadre of Positions at its various divisions and branches across the state.

Remuneration:
- For Sr. Manager (F&A)/ Dy. Chief Industrial Relation Officer/ System Analysts/ Asst. Director (V&S): The candidates selected for the positions will receive a remuneration in the range of Rs.25380 – Rs.54565 with other allowances
- For Vigilance Officer (V&S): The candidates selected for the positions will receive a remuneration in the range of Rs.21170 – Rs.47895 with other allowances
- For Programmer: The candidates selected for the positions will receive a remuneration in the range of Rs.19810 – Rs.43990 with other allowances
- For Dy. Vigilance Officer (V&S): The candidates selected for the positions will receive a remuneration in the range of Rs.17090 – Rs.37360 with other allowances
- For Asst. Programmer/ Junior Engineer (Dist.): The candidates selected for the positions will receive a remuneration in the range of Rs.15285 – Rs.36965 with other allowances
- For Junior Programmer/ Junior Law Officer: The candidates selected for the positions will receive a remuneration in the range of Rs.14225 – Rs.35905 with other allowances
- For Sub-Engineer (Dist.): The candidates selected for the positions will receive a remuneration in the range of Rs.11600 – Rs.32030 with other allowances

Details of Academic Criteria & Experience:
Accounts Cadre:
- Post Code: SMFA – Sr. Manager (F&A): Must have passed CA / ICWA Final and should have at least 5 years relevant experience in Finance/ Accounts/ Audit
Industrial Relations:
- Post Code: DCIR – Dy. Chief Industrial Relation Officer: Must have passed a Degree or Diploma with Industrial Relations as one of the subjects with not less than 9 years of experience in Industrial Relations in a large Industrial Undertaking. Preference will be granted to Law Degree holders with adequate knowledge of Marathi and Hindi
Information Technology:
- Post Code: SYAN – System Analysts: Must have passed Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Computer/ Information Technology/ Computer Science Or MCA (Post-Graduation) with minimum 7 years experience in Computer Programming in a PSU/large organization

Technical:

Must be a serving or Ex-Military Officer from Army/ Navy or Air Force having held the rank of Captain OR, Must be an Officer from Police/ Para Military Forces of the rank of DSP having an experience of 4 years in specialized branches like CID/ Intelligence/ Anti-Corruption Bureau/ CBI OR, Group-A/Class-I Officer from Vigilance/ Security/ Intelligence cadre of Central/ State PSUs having an experience of 5 years OR, A Departmental candidate with a minimum experience of 12 years in the capacity of Jr. Vigilance Officer or above.
- Post Code: VIGO – Vigilance Officer: Must have a Degree in any discipline. Degree in Law/ Personal Management will be considered as an added advantage. Must be a serving or Ex-Military Officer from Army/ Navy or Air Force having held the rank of Subedar OR, Must be an Officer from Police/ Para Military Forces of the rank of Inspector/Asst. Inspector having an experience of 3 years in specialized branches like CID/ Intelligence/ Anti-Corruption Bureau/ CBI OR, Group-B/Class-II Officer from Vigilance/ Security/ Intelligence cadre of Central/ State PSUs having an experience of 5 years OR, A Departmental candidate with a minimum experience of 10 years in the capacity of Jr. Vigilance Officer or above.
- Post Code: DVIG – Deputy Vigilance Officer: Must have a Degree in any discipline. Degree in Law/ Personal Management will be considered as an added advantage. Must be a serving or Ex-Military Officer from Army/ Navy or Air Force OR, Must be an Officer from Police/ Para Military Forces of the rank of Inspector/Asst. Inspector having a total experience of 10 years out of which an experience of 2 years in specialized branches like CID/ Intelligence/ Anti-Corruption Bureau/ CBI OR, Group-C/Class-III Officer from Vigilance/ Security/ Intelligence cadre of Central/ State PSUs having an experience of 10 years OR, A Departmental candidate with a minimum experience of 8 years in the capacity of Jr. Vigilance Officer or above.
Legal Cadre:

Age requirement:
- For Sr. Manager (F&A)/ Dy. Chief Industrial Relations Officer/ System Analysts/ Programmer/ Asst. Director (V&S)/ Vigilance Officer (V&S): The applicants should not have achieved more than 40 years of age as on 10-Oct-2013.
- For Assistant Programmer/ Junior Programmer/ Dy. Vigilance Officer (V&S)/ Junior Engineer (Dist.)/ Junior Law Officer: The applicants should not have achieved more than 35 years of age as on 10-Oct-2013.
- For Sub-Engineer (Dist.): The applicants should not have achieved more than 30 years of age as on 10-Oct-2013.
- However, the upper age is relaxable for candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ OBC-NCL/ PWD categories

- For General/ OBC candidates and all those applied against Gen/OBC category: Rs.500 (Rupees Five Hundred only)
- For SC/ST/PWD/ Ex-SM candidates/Other reserved category: Rs.250 (Rupees Two-Hundred Fifty only)
- The fees can be remitted in shape of a cash Deposit challan at any Branch of bank of Maharashtra.
- The fee can also be remitted in shape of Online Transfer through Online application portal of Maha Vitaran
Selection Procedure:
The selection of candidates will be done through Online Written Test/ Personal Interview/ verification of documents and Physical Fitness Test as per the discretion of the Maha Vitaran.
The candidates will be selected on the Merit ranking only.
