JPSC Recruitment Advertisement No. 17/2017: Jharkhand Public Service Commission JPSC invites online applications from eligible candidates for DIRECT recruitment of 668 Headmasters (Principal) in Government High School in the State of Jharkhand.
Headmaster: 668 Vacancies [Unreserved- 334 Posts, SC- 67 Posts, ST- 174 Posts, BC I- 53 Posts, BC II- 40 Posts] (Women- 33 Posts, Sports – 13 Posts, PWD- 21 Posts)
Candidates will be on selected on the basis of written examination (objective type multiple choice questions) of 500 marks. Selected candidates will be on probation for a period of three years.
Pay Scale: Rs. 9300-34800/- plus Grade Pay of Rs. 5400/-

Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must have passed Post Graduate degree in relevant discipline with minimum 45% marks. Candidates must possess B.Ed. Degree, and have knowledge of computer application. Candidates should have minimum ten years (seven years in case of SC/ ST category candidates) post qualification teaching experience as on 16-July-2017.
Age Limit: Minimum age limit is 35 years and maximum 50 years as on January 01, 2017. However, relaxation in upper age limit for reserved category is applicable as per Jharkhand Government rules.
Application Fee:
Rs. 150 for SC/ST candidates of Jharkhand State
Rs. 600/- for candidates belonging to Unreserved/ BC-I & II Categories
