Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) invites applciations from eligible candidates under SRD for SC, ST & OBC from open market/ external candidates for direct recruitment of Junior Telecom Officer (JTO).
Junior Telecom Officer (JTO)- 198 Vacancies [132 Posts in Civil Discipline, and 46 Posts in Electrical Discipline]
Qualification: Candidates must possess B.E./ B.Tech. or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering or Electrical Engineering from a recognized Institution/ University. Candidates must have appeared in GATE Exam 2019, opting one paper from selected two disciplines of GATE paper codes i.e. Electrical (EE) and Civil (CE).
Age Limit: Candidate shall not be below 18 years and not exceed 30 years as on t12-March-2019. However, the upper age limit relaxation is as per the standing instructions of Government of India.
Pay Scale: JTO(Civil) & JTO(Electrical) will be appointed in the IDA pay scale Executive[E-1A] of Rs.16,400/- – Rs.40,500/- as per 2nd PRC with annual increment @ 3% of basic pay plus IDA, HRA, Perks, Medical Benefits, etc. admissible as per BSNL Company rules.

GATE 2017 Registration:
Online application process for GATE-2017 has already started from 1st September 2016 and closes on 4th October 2016. To join BSNL in the profile of JTO, a person must be a technical graduate with a Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology Degree in specific branch of engineering. Usually fresh graduates are preferred for these posts as they have the potency and vigor to carry-out the tasks in more efficient manner. These graduates are subjected to training and probation on joining the service and are inducted in full-scale as they complete their preliminary probation. They also need to sign a Service Agreement Bond with the BSNL.
