Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission, invites online applications from eligible permanent residents of the Jammu and Kashmir State for the Combined Competitive (Preliminary) Examination for Junior Scale of J&K Administrative Service, J&K Police (Gazetted) Service, and J&K Accounts (Gazetted) Service.

Important Dates:
Starting Date for Submission of Online Application: 22-June-2016
Last Date for Submission of Online Application: 22-July-2016
Last Date for Submission of Fee/ Bank challan: 25-July-2016
Date of Preliminary Examination: 25-September-2016 held at different centres located at Anantnag, Baramulla, Doda, Jammu, Kargil, Leh, Rajouri and Srinagar districts
Date of Commencement of Main Examination: 01-November-2016
Qualification: Candidates must possess Bachelor’s Degree in any subject from a recognized University in India or from a Foreign University declared by Government in consultation with the Commission to be equivalent to a degree of a recognized University.
Age Limit: Minimum 21 years and Maximum 35 years a son 01-January-2016. Candidate must have been born not earlier than 01-January-1981 and not later than 01-January-1995. However, relaxation in upper age limit applicable as per government rules.
In respect of J&K Police (Gazetted) Service, candidates must have fulfill minimum required physical standards.
Application Fee:
Rs. 505/- for reserved categories/ PHC candidates
Rs. 1005/- for general category candidates
On successful submission of the online application, a window will open with a link to print e-challan and application form. The candidate should take a printout of the fee payment challan and can deposit fees in any of the branches of Jammu and Kashmir Bank in the designated account number printed on the e-challan.
