Jammu & Kashmir Public Service Commission invites application from permanent residents of the Jammu & Kashmir State for recruitment of Medical Physicist in the discipline of Radio Therapy, Government Medical College, Srinagar in Health & Medical Education Department.

Name of the Posts along with Vacancies: Medical Physicist – 03 Posts
Age Limit:
Not less than 18 years and not more than 40 years in case of open merit; 43 years in case of SC/ ST/ RBA/ ALC/ SLC candidates; and 42 years in case of physically challenged candidates.
Educational Qualification:
Candidate should have completed post graduate degree in physics from a recognised university; have post M.Sc. diploma in radiological/medical physics; and internship of minimum 12 months in a recognized well equipped radiation therapy department.
OR
Candidate should have completed degree in science with physics as one of the main subjects; have post graduate degree in radiological/medical physics; and an internship of minimum 12 months in a recognized well-equipped radiation therapy Department.
Pay Scale: Rs.9300-34800/- with Grade Pay of Rs.5400/-
How to Get the Application Form:
Candidates may get the OMR application form from the office of the Jammu & Kashmir Public Service Commission, Solina Srinagar/ Resham Ghar Colony, Bakshi Nagar, Jammu on cash payment of Rs. 500/- (excluding processing charges of Rs.10/) for General Category candidates; and Rs. 250/- (excluding processing charges of 10/-) for all other category candidates.

Eligible candidates may send/ submit duly completed OMR application form, a passport size photograph duly attested by the gazetted officer should be pasted at the relevant place/ space provided in the application form, along with photocopy of the application form, photocopies of the certificates/ testimonials as suggested in official advertisement, to the Secretary, J&K Public Service Commission, Solina, Srinagar/Resham Ghar Colony, Bakshi Nagar, Jammu.
