JKPSC Recruitment Notification 24 – PSC (DR-P) OF 2022 Jammu & Kashmir Public Service Commission invites online applications from eligible candidates (Domicile of the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir) for recruitment of post of Prosecuting Officer in Jammu Kashmir Home Department.
Prosecuting Officer- 120 Vacancies in Jammu Kashmir Home Department
Mode of Selection: The selection will be made on the basis of Preliminary Exam (Objective type), Main Examination (Descriptive type), Personality Test (Interview) and Document Verification.
Preliminary Exam: Preliminary Examination (Objective type) consists of 2 Papers of 200 Marks each. It is meant as screening test only. Candidates qualified in preliminary examination will be allowed to appear in the Main Examination (Descriptive type).
Main Exam: The Main Exam will consists of seven papers and English paper of conventional essay type. On the basis of Main Exam, candidates will be called for Personality Test (Interview).
Pay Scale: Rs. 47,600 – 1,51,100/-

Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must possess Bachelor’s Degree in Law from a recognised university.
Age Limit: Minimum age limit is 18 years and maximum is 40 years of as on January 01, 2022. However, relaxation in upper age limit for reserved category is applicable as per government rules.
Candidates are strongly suggested to verify that he/ she fulfill minimum eligibility criteria as required qualification and experiences before applying.
Application Fee:
Rs. 1000/- for General category candidates
Rs. 500/- for all reserved category candidates
Candidates are suggested to pay the application fee through Net Banking, by using Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, RuPay Credit or Debit cards.
PHC Candidates re exempted from payment of fee.
