Selection Process:
Candidates will be selected on the basis of two phase pattern of examination.
Phase-I ( Preliminary examination) of 100 Marks covering Reasoning Ability, Numerical Ability and English Language.
Qualified Candidates will be called for Phase-II (Main Examination) of 200 Marks covering Reasoning and Computer Aptitude, Quantitative Aptitude (Data Analysis and Interpretation), English Language and General Awareness. Candidates up to 3 times of vacant posts will qualify for interview.

Eligibility Criteria: Direct Recruitment
Candidates must passed Intermediate/ 10+2 with at least 50% marks (45% marks for SC/ ST/ OBC/ PH Challenged candidates) or Graduate/ Post Graduate in any discipline from a recognised university and should have knowledge of computer.
Provided that the candidate should have passed Matriculation and 10+2 from any School/Institution situated within Himachal Pradesh. This condition shall, however, not apply to Bonafide Himachalis.
Candidates applying for Steno-Typist position, must also pass in Shorthand with a speed of 80 words per minute in English and 70 words per minute in Hindi in the skill test to be conducted by the Bank.
AND
Type writing examination with a speed of 40 words per minute in English and 30 words per minute in Hindi typewriting in the skill test to be conducted by the Bank.
