HPSC Recruitment Advertisement 1 of 2019- Haryana Public Service Commission invites online applications from eligible candidates for recruitment of 524 Posts of Assistant Professors (College Cadre), in various subjects (Chemistry, Commerce, Computer Sciences, Economics, English, Geography, Hindi, History, Math, Music, Philosophy, Physical Education, Political Science, Psychology, Public Administration, Punjabi, Sanskrit, Sociology, and Zoology) in higher education department, Government of Haryana.
Assistant Professors (College Cadre): 524 Vacancies
Last Date for Submission of Online Application: 15-April-2019
Age Limit: Minimum 21 years and Maximum 42 years as on 15-April-2019. However, the upper age limit is relaxable as per Government rules.
Qualification: Candidates must have Good academic record with at least 55% of the marks or an equivalent grade at the Master’s Degree level in the relevant subject. Candidates should have Knowledge of Hindi/ Sanskrit up to matriculation standard.
Candidates must have qualified National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the University Grant Commission, Counsel of Scientific and Industrial Research or similar test accredited by the University Grant Commission as SLET/ SET shall remain the minimum eligibility condition for recruitment and appointment as Assistant Professor in Colleges.
Candidates, who are, or have been awarded a Ph.D degree in accordance with the University Grant Commission regulation, 2009 shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/ SLET/ SET for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professor.
NET/ SLET/ SET shall not be required for such Master’s Programmes in disciplines for which NET/ SLET/ SET is not conducted.
Pay Scale: Rs.15600-39100/- plus Grade Pay Rs.6000/-
