HPSC Food Safety Officer Recruitment Advertisement No. 24/2022 – Haryana Public Service Commission (HPSC) invites online applications from eligible female candidates for direct recruitment of Food Safety Officer (Group-B) vacancy in Food and Drugs Administration Department, Government of Haryana.

The selected candidates will have to successfully complete training as specified by the Food Authority in a recognized institute or Institution approved for the purpose and only those who will complete the training will be appointed as Food Safety Officer.

Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualification– Candidates must possess Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology or Dairy Technology or Biotechnology or Oil Technology or Agricultural Science or Veterinary Sciences or Biochemistry or Microbiology or Master’s Degree in Chemistry or degree in Medicine from a recognized university. Candidates should have studied Hindi or Sanskrit up to Matriculation standard or Higher Education.
Age Limit– Candidates must have Minimum 21 years and Maximum 42 years of age as on 01-August-2022. However, relaxation in upper age limit applicable as per government rules.
Pay Scale: FPL-9300-34800+4200 GP, FPL-6 (Cell l) Rs. 35400/-
Application Fee:
Rs. 1000/- for Male candidates of General category including Dependent Son of Ex-Serviceman of Haryana; and Male candidates of General and all reserved categories of other States.
Rs. 250/- for all Female candidates of General category including Female Dependent of ESM of Haryana only; and Female candidates of General and all reserved categories of other States; and Male & Female candidates of SC / BC-A / BC-B / ESM categories of Haryana only; and Economically Weaker Sections (EWS).
PwBD Candidates with minimum 40% disability of Haryana State are exempted from payment of application fee. Applicants are suggested to pay the fee through online mode Net Banking/ Debit card/ Credit card etc.
