Rajasthan State Panchayati Raj Department, in line with the Panchayati Raj Act 1996 has recently notified direct recruitment for Grade-III Teachers through concerned Zilla Parishads. This Grade-III Teacher Recruitment Competitive Exam for the year 2013 will be conducted as per the recruitment norms of Rajasthan Panchayati Raj Act. Fresh applications are invited from eligible applicants with adequate qualification and experience.

Important Dates:
- Date of starting of receipt of ONLINE Application/ remittance of Application Fees: 14-Aug-2013
- Date of Closing/ Expiry of Link for ONLINE Application: 04-Sept-2013 till midnight
- Last date for remittance of Application Fees: 02-Sept-2013
- Date for reckoning Age Criteria: 01-Jan-2014
Vacancy Posts/ Subject-wise:
- Level-I (Class I-V): 11000 posts
- Level-II (Class VI-VIII): 9000 posts
- Applicants can apply for any one Positions
- Reservation for SC/ ST/ OBC and PWD candidates will be applicable only for natives of Rajasthan as per state government norms
Pay Scale:
- The eligible candidates, who are selected for Teacher (Grade-III), will be eligible for consolidated remuneration of Rs.10000 during probation period without any other allowances.
- After completion of the Probation Period, these candidates will be inducted on a running Pay Scale of Rs.9300-34800 and Grade Pay (no-13) of Rs.3600.
- Other allowances and facilities will be offered as per rules of the Rajasthan Education Service
Essential eligibility Conditions:
Age: The candidates applying for these posts must not have attained more than 35 years of age as on 1-Jan-2014. The minimum age prescribed is 18 years as on the same date. However, the relaxation in upper age limit will be applicable as per the rules only for the natives of Rajasthan State.
Academics:
- Level-I (Class I-V): The applicants must have completed Higher Secondary Education with minimum 50% marks and 2 years Diploma in Primary Education/ BEd recognised by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and have passed RTET (Rajasthan Teacher Eligibility Test)
OR, The applicant must have completed Higher Secondary Education with minimum 50% marks and 4 years Degree (B.El.Ed.) in Elementary Education and have passed RTET (Rajasthan Teacher Eligibility Test)
OR, The applicant must have completed Graduation with Diploma in Elementary Education and have passed RTET (Rajasthan Teacher Eligibility Test)
- Level-II (Class VI-VIII): The applicants must have completed Graduation and 2 years Diploma in Primary Education recognised by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and have passed RTET (Rajasthan Teacher Eligibility Test)
OR, The applicant must have completed Graduation with minimum 50% marks and have completed 1 year BEd. Course and have passed RTET (Rajasthan Teacher Eligibility Test)
OR, The applicant must have completed Graduation with minimum 50% marks and 4 years Degree (B.El.Ed.) in Elementary Education and have passed RTET (Rajasthan Teacher Eligibility Test)
OR, The applicant must have completed Higher Secondary with 50% marks and must have completed 4 years BA/BSc. Ed. Or BEd./ BSc. Ed. and have passed RTET (Rajasthan Teacher Eligibility Test)
- The candidates must have adequate competency of Devnagari Script and should be able to read, write and speak Hindi. He should have knowledge of Rajasthani Culture and traditions.
Application Fees:
- For each level and for all candidates except SC, ST/PWD from Rajasthan State: Rs.500
- For SBC, OBC-NCL: Rs.350
- For SC, ST, PWD: Rs.250
- Processing fee for all candidates: Rs.30
- The fees can be remitted in cash at any of the Citizen Service Centers (CSCs)/ e-Mitra Kiosks as per the instructions.

- The interested candidates can apply Online through the E-Mitra Kiosks or Jan Seva Kendras (Citizen Service Centres) as designated by the Rajasthan Government through the web portal //www.examtgt.rajasthan.gov.in/
- The candidates are required to get acquainted with the eligibility conditions prior to apply ONLINE
- The candidates need to scan and upload their recent passport size photographs and running signatures during filing online application.
Selection Procedure:
- The selection of candidates will follow scrutiny of ONLINE Applications, Written Test, Personal Interview followed by Verification of Documents.
- Only those candidates selected on the basis of merit will be allowed for recruitment
Special Note:
- The decision of the Zilla Parishads will be final and binding on the candidates
- Any form of improper and wrong information about the academics and age of the candidates may result in disqualification
- Any candidate found guilty of misconduct will be dealt with exemplary punishments
