GAIL has been conferred with the Maharatna status by the Government of India and has been recognized for the longest pipeline distribution of natural gas pipeline (1800 Km) across the world.
With the present initiative from GAIL India, a notice has been served for induction of Various in Non-Executive Cadre at its Pata Division in Auraiya, UP.

Remuneration:
- S-3 Grade: The candidates selected for the positions mentioned under S-3 Grade will receive a remuneration in the range of Rs.12500 – Rs.33000 in IDA Pattern
- S-5 Grade: The candidates selected for the positions mentioned under S-5 Grade will receive a remuneration in the range of Rs.14500 – Rs.36000 in IDA Pattern
- Other allowances and perks will be applicable as per norms
Details of Academic Criteria:
S-3 Grade:
- Technician (Mechanical): Interested candidates should have completed matriculation with ITI in trades of Fitter/ Diesel Mechanic/ Machinist/ Turner and should have at least 2 years experience in the concerned trades in Oil/ Gas/ Petrochemicals/ Chemicals/ Fertilizer/ Power/ Steel industry.
- Technician (Electrical): Interested candidates should have completed matriculation with ITI in trades of Electrician/ Wireman and should have at least 2 years experience in the concerned trades in Oil/ Gas/ Petrochemicals/ Chemicals/ Fertilizer/ Power/ Steel industry.
- Operator (Chemical): Interested candidates should have completed B.Sc. with subjects of Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics with minimum 55% marks or B.Sc (Hons.) in Chemistry with minimum 55% marks and should have at least 1 year experience in the concerned trades in Oil/ Gas/ Petrochemicals/ Chemicals/ Fertilizer/ Power/ Steel industry.
- Technician (Instrumentation): Interested candidates should have completed matriculation with ITI in trades of Instrument Mechanic/ Electronics Mechanic and should have at least 2 years experience in the concerned trades in Oil/ Gas/ Petrochemicals/ Chemicals/ Fertilizer/ Power/ Steel industry.
- Assistant (Stores & Purchase): Interested candidates should have completed Bachelor Degree with minimum 55% marks and minimum typing speed of 40 w.p.m in English in Computer typing. Should have at least 1 year experience in Oil/ Gas/ Petrochemicals/ Chemicals/ Fertilizer/ Power/ Steel industry
- Assistant (Human Resources): Interested candidates should have completed Bachelor Degree with minimum 55% marks and minimum typing speed of 40 w.p.m in English in Computer typing. Should have at least 1 year experience in Oil/ Gas/ Petrochemicals/ Chemicals/ Fertilizer/ Power/ Steel industry
- Accounts Assistant: Interested candidates should have completed Bachelor Degree in Commerce with minimum 55% marks and minimum typing speed of 40 w.p.m in English in Computer typing. Should have at least 1 year experience in Oil/ Gas/ Petrochemicals/ Chemicals/ Fertilizer/ Power/ Steel industry
S-5 Grade:
- Foreman (Mechanical): Interested candidates should have completed Diploma in Mechanical/ Production/ Production & Industrial/ Manufacturing/ Mechanical & Automobile Engineering with minimum 60% marks and should have at least 2 years experience in the concerned trades in Oil/ Gas/ Petrochemicals/ Chemicals/ Fertilizer/ Power/ Steel industry.
- Foreman (Electrical): Interested candidates should have completed Diploma in Electrical/ Electrical & Electronics Engineering with minimum 60% marks and should have at least 2 years experience in the concerned trades in Oil/ Gas/ Petrochemicals/ Chemicals/ Fertilizer/ Power/ Steel industry.
- Foreman (Chemical): Interested candidates should have completed Diploma in Chemical/ Petrochemical Engineering/Technology with minimum 60% marks and should have at least 2 years experience in the concerned trades in Oil/ Gas/ Petrochemicals/ Chemicals/ Fertilizer/ Power/ Steel industry.
- Foreman (Instrumentation): Interested candidates should have completed Diploma in Instrumentation/ Instrumentation & Control/ Electronics & Instrumentation/ Electrical & Instrumentation/ Electronics Engineering with minimum 60% marks and should have at least 2 years experience in the concerned trades in Oil/ Gas/ Petrochemicals/ Chemicals/ Fertilizer/ Power/ Steel industry
- Foreman (Civil): Interested candidates should have completed Diploma in Civil Engineering with minimum 60% marks and should have at least 2 years experience in the concerned trades in Oil/ Gas/ Petrochemicals/ Chemicals/ Fertilizer/ Power/ Steel industry
- Junior Superintendent (HR): Interested candidates should have completed Bachelor Degree with Diploma in Personnel Management/ Industrial Relations with minimum 55% marks in each and should have at least 2 years experience in the concerned trades in Oil/ Gas/ Petrochemicals/ Chemicals/ Fertilizer/ Power/ Steel industry
- Junior Accountant: Interested candidates should have completed Intermediate or equivalent in CA/ ICWA Or, should be holding Master Degree (M.Com) in Commerce with minimum 60% marks and should have at least 2 years experience in the concerned trades in Oil/ Gas/ Petrochemicals/ Chemicals/ Fertilizer/ Power/ Steel industry
Age requirement:
- For S-5 Grade: The applicants should not have achieved more than 32 years of age as on 21-Sept-2013.
- For S-3 Grade: The applicants should not have achieved more than 30 years of age as on 21-Sept-2013.
- However, the upper age is relaxable for candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ OBC-NCL/ PWD categories
