CSIR-Institute of Microbial Technology, invites applications from eligible candidates for direct recruitment to the posts of Technician, Technical Assistant, Junior Engineer, Electrician and Fitter.
Name of the Posts along with Vacancies:
Technician- 12 Vacancies
Candidates must have passed Secondary School Certificate/ 10th Standard with Science subjects with minimum 55% marks. Candidates must also possess ITI certificate in relevant Trade.
Technical Assistant- 06 Vacancies
Candidates must possess first class B.Sc. with one year full time professional qualification/ experience OR First class full time Diploma in Bio-Chemical / Instrumentation of at least 3 years.
Junior Engineer- 01 Vacancy
Candidates must possess first class full time Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
Electrician- 01 Vacancy
Candidates must have passed Secondary School Certificate/ 10th Standard with Science subjects with minimum 55% marks, Candidates must also possess ITI certificate in Electrician trade.
Fitter- 01 Vacancy
Candidates must have passed Secondary School Certificate/ 10th Standard with Science subjects with minimum 55% marks. Candidates must also possess ITI certificate in Fitter trade.
Mode of Selection: Selection will be made on the basis of examination, and Interview.
For Technical Positions; There will be three papers (Paper-I, Paper-II & Paper-III). Paper-I [Mental Ability Test of 100 Marks] will be qualifying paper. The Final merit list will be prepared only on the basis of the marks obtained by the candidates in Paper-II [General Awareness and English Language of 75 Marks each] and Paper-III [Concerned Subject of 300 Marks (150 Marks for Technician Post)].

Upper Age Limit as on 15-July-101: 28 years
Application Fee: Rs.500/- for general and OBC category candidates

- Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe candidates/PWD candidates, and regular employees of CSIR are exempted from payment of fee.
