Directorate General, Central Industrial Security Force, Ministry of Home Affairs invites applications from eligible candidates for recruitment of Head Constable/ Ministerial in CISF for direct candidate and HC/ Min (LDCE) for departmental candidates. Selected candidates will be on probation for a period of two years.

Head Constable/ Ministerial Pay Scale & Remuneration:
The candidates selected for Head Constable/ Ministerial posts will be eligible for a Pay Level-4 (Rs. 25,500-81,100/-) plus usual allowances as admissible to the Central Government employees from time to time.

Academics: The candidate should have completed Intermediate or Senior Secondary School Certificate (10+2) examination from recognized Board or University or equivalent.
The candidates need to pass the Skill Test in Shorthand with a rate of 80 words per minute for 10 minutes; and Transcription of the same in Hindi in 65 minutes and in English in 50 minutes.
Age Limit: Ideally recommended age for recruitment of Constables is in between 18 – 25 years as on the last date of receipt of application that is 25-October-2022. Candidates should not have been born earlier than 26th October 1997 and later than 25th October 2004. However, for candidates belonging to SC/ST and Ex-Servicemen and departmental Candidates the upper age is relaxable as per the service directives.
Physical Standard: The candidates are required to have minimum physical standard to be eligible for consideration.
Height: 165 cm (General) / 155 Cm for Female/ 162.5 cm (for privileged applicants)/ 150 cm (for privileged applicants)
Chest measurement: 77 cm (unexpanded) and 82 cm (expanded) (the expansion difference must be minimum of 5 cm for all) [FOR Scheduled Tribes- 76 cm (unexpanded) and 81 cm (expanded)]
Especially for Ex-Servicemen:
Break in Service: The applicant must not have more than 3 years of break from his last posting in Army/ Navy/ Air Force
Medical Standard: A (Aye) in Shape-I
Selection Procedure: The selection will be conducted in the following manner:
Candidates will be selected on the basis of Physical Standard Test (PST), Documentation, Written Examination under OMR Based/ Computer Based Test (CBT Mode), Typing Test for Head Constable (Ministerial)) and Medical Examination.

Application Fees:
For General UR and OBC candidates: Rs. 100/-
Candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Female and Ex-servicemen (ESM) are exempted from payment of fee.
Fee can be paid online through Net Banking, by using Credit or Debit or Rupay cards, and UPI or through cash in SBI Branches by generating SBI Challan.
Online fee can be paid by the candidates up to 25/10/2022 (1700 hours). However, candidates who wish to make the cash payment through Challan of SBI, may make the payment in cash at the Branches of SBI within the working hours of the bank up to 27/10/2022 provided the Challan has been generated by them before 25/10/2022 (1700 hours).
