CSIR-Central Electronics Engineering Research Institute (CSIR-CEERI), Pilani invited online applications from eligible candidates for direct recruitment of Junior Secretariat Assistant and Junior Stenographer Positions.

Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must pass Intermediate/ 10+2 or equivalent qualification from a recognised board. Candidates must be proficiency in computer type speed and in using computer as per the prescribed norms fixed by DoPT.
Required Skills:-
Junior Secretariat Assistant- English Typing @ 35 w.p.m. or Hindi Typing @ 30 w.p.m. (35 words per minute or 30 words per minute correspond to 10500 KDPH or 9000 KDPH on an average of 5 key depressions for each word). Time allowed for Typing Test is 10 minutes, which is qualifying in nature.
Junior Stenographer- One Dictation for 10 minutes in English or Hindi (as opted by the candidates in the Application Form) at the speed of 80 w.p.m., which is qualifying in nature.
Upper Age Limit: 28 years for Junior Secretariat Assistant and 27 years for Junior Stenographer Posts as on 25-October-2022. However, relaxation in upper age limit applicable as per government rules.
Pay Scale:
Rs. 19,900-63,200/- Pay Level-2 for Junior Secretariat Assistant
Rs. 25,500-81,100/- Pay Level-4 for Junior Stenographer
Selection Process-
Junior Secretariat Assistant- Candidates will be selected on the basis of competitive written examination and typewriting test on Computer. The written competitive examination consists of the two papers (Paper-I Mental Ability and Paper-II General Awareness & English Language). The final merit list will be prepared only on the basis of the marks obtained by the candidates in Paper-II.
Junior Stenographer-Candidates will be selected on the basis of competitive written examination and stenography. The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of the performance of the candidates in the competitive written examination.
Application Fee: Rs. 100/- SC/ ST/ PwBD/ Women/ Other Gender/ CSIR Employees/ Ex-Servicemen are exempted from payment of application fee.
