Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) invites applications from eligible candidates for recruitment of Head Teacher (Primary Schools).

Head Teacher (प्रधान शिक्षक) (Primary Schools)- 40506 Vacancies [District-wise Vacancies]

Candidates will be selected on the basis of written examination of 150 marks covering the topics from General Studies – D.El.Ed.

Bihar Head Teacher Vacancy 2022 Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must possess Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university with minimum 50% marks and have passed D.El.Ed/B.T/B.Ed./B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed/B.L.Ed. from recognized institution.

• Must have qualified in the ‘Teacher Eligibility Test’ conducted for teachers appointed on or after 2012.
• Must have minimum 8 years of regular service as basic grade teacher of Panchayat Elementary teacher/ Urban Elementary Teacher under Panchayat Raj Institutions and Urban Local Body Institutions.

Age Limit: Minimum 31 years and Maximum 47 years as on 01-August-2021. However, relaxation in upper age limit applicable as per government rules.

Rs. 200/- for SC/ ST category candidates and female candidates of Bihar Domicile
Rs. 750/- for All others
