Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) ने 64वीं संयुक्त प्रारंभिक परीक्षा 2018 (64th Combined Preliminary Service examination 2018) के लिए पदों की संख्या बढ़ा दी हैं. BPSC ने 140 पद बढ़ाए हैं. अब 1255 की जगह कुल 1395 पदों के लिए भर्ती परीक्षा आयोजित की जाएगी. आयोग ने प्रखंड पंचायत राज पदाधिकारी के लिए 133 और नगर कार्यपालक के पदाधिकारी के लिए 7 पद बढ़ाए हैं.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should have any Degree or equivalent qualification from a recognized university.
Age Limit As on 01-August-2018: Minimum
20 years for the posts of Bihar Police Service (Deputy Superintendent of Police- पुलिस उप-अधीक्षक)
21 years for the posts of Bihar Probation Service (Probation Officer) Home Department Kara; Rural development officer, Department of Rural Development; Labor Enforcement Officer, Department of Labor Resources; Supply Inspector, Food and Consumer Protection Department; and Block SC and ST Welfare officer, Welfare department of SC and ST
22 years for All other Posts
Maximum 37 years for unreserved male candidates, 40 years for unreserved female and OBC (male/ female) candidates, and 42 years for SC/ ST category candidates.
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of preliminary exam of 150 marks (two hours duration), main exam, and interview.
Examination Fee:
Rs. 150/- for SC/ ST/ PH candidates belonging to Bihar State
Rs. 600/- for All other candidates
