APS-CSB 2022-2023 Important Dates:
Starting Date for Online Registration: 25-August-2022
Last Date for Online Registration: 05-October-2022
Date of Screening Test: 5 November 2022 and 6 November 2022
Availability of Admit Card: 20 October 2022 Admit Cards will be available ON-LINE. Candidates may download and print the same.
Publication of Results: 20 November 2022
Score Card: The Score Cards of successful candidates will be available on the Registration Portal after the exam which the candidates may download. The card will be valid for life provided the candidate takes up teaching position in any CBSE recognized school (for a period of at least one year) within 3 years of issue of Score Card.
There are 137 Army Public Schools located in various Cantonments and Military Stations across India. Screening Exam will be conducted in 77 various cities throughout India.
Army Public Schools are administered and managed by local Army authorities and affiliated to CBSE through Army Welfare Education Society.
- All PGTs will be appointed on regular basis subject to one year probation extendable up to two years.
- 50 % of TGTs (including activity teacher) held on the rolls of any school will be regular as per seniority. Others will be on 3 years contract (if CTET/TET qualified) which will be extendable.
- 30 % of PRTs (including activity teacher) held on the rolls of any school will be regular as per seniority. Others will be on 3 years contract (if CTET/TET qualified) which will be extendable.
APS-CSB 2022-2023 Eligibility Criteria:
PGT- Candidates must possess Post Graduation with minimum 50% marks, and B Ed with minimum 50% marks.
TGT, PRT- Candidates must possess Graduation with minimum 50% marks, and B Ed with minimum 50% marks.
Note: CTET/ TET conducted by state governments is mandatory for TGTs/ PRTs to be appointed Regular/Contractual. However CTET/ TET is not mandatory for appearing in CSB Screening exam.
Upper Age Limit As on 01 April 2023: 40 years except for NCR schools where the upper age limit for TGT/ PRT should be 29 years and for PGT 36 years.
Candidates having minimum five years teaching experience in the last ten years; can apply up to 57 years of age.
Exam Fee: Rs. 500/- can select ONLINE PAYMENT mode, and make the payment using Credit card/ Debit card/ Net Banking.
In other method of payment, once can pay by CASH through CHALLAN at any of the designated SBI bank branch.

Candidates are suggested to register ON-LINE for the screening exam by logging onto the Registration Portal.
PGT, TGT, PRT Selection Procedure: Three Stages [APS-CSB 2022-2023]
Stage 1-Screening Exam- The screening exam is conducted on-line by an agency identified by HQ AWES centrally to ensure uniform basic quality of teachers in all Army Public Schools. Those who qualify in screening exam, will be given Score Cards which are valid for life provided the candidate picks up a teaching job in any CBSE affiliated school within three years from the date of passing the screening exam.
The screening exam [ON-LINE in the MCQ format] shall be conducted during 5 and 6 November 2022 as per schedule to be decided depending on the number of candidates who register for the exam. The question paper will have 200 questions for one mark each. There will be negative marking.1/4 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer. To qualify for a post, the candidate must score minimum 50 % marks in each part.
Stage 2-Interview- Interview shall be conducted at various centres in India for a single school or a cluster of schools.
Stage 3-Evaluation of Teaching Skills and Computer Proficiency: Appointments will be made as per CBSE/AWES Rules.

The exam was conducted for the recruitment of TGT/ PGT/PRT teachers from 17 and 18 November 2018. The exam was conducted in a computer-based test mode in 77 cities. In order to qualify, a candidate has to score a minimum of 50 per cent in each part. Approximately 1,000 vacancies will be filled through this exam.
