Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of written exam and Skill/ Practical test (Qualifying).
The written test will consist of General Intelligence & Reasoning, Numerical Aptitude, General English and General Awareness.
Skill / Practical test will be carried out in respect of LDC, Civilian Motor Driver (Ordinary Grade) and Cook post only.
The final selection of the candidates will be based on written examination marks.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and Maximum 25 years (30 years for Civilian Motor Driver). The crucial date for determining age limit shall be the last date for receipt of application. However relaxation in upper age limit applicable as per central government rules.

Written Exam Syllabus:
Numerical Aptitude- Problems relating to Number Systems, Computation of Whole Numbers, Decimals and Fractions and relationship between Numbers, Fundamental arithmetical operations, Percentages, Ratio and Proportion, Averages, Interest, Profit and Loss, Discount, use of Tables and Graphs, Mensuration, Time and Distance, Ratio and Time, Time and Work, etc.
General English– Understanding the Basics of English Language, its Vocabulary, Grammar, Sentence Structure, Synonyms, Antonyms and its correct usage, etc and their Writing Ability would be tested.
General Intelligence and Reasoning- Non-verbal questions on analogies, similarities and differences, space visualization, problem solving, analysis, judgment, decision making, visual memory, discriminating observation, relationship concepts, figure classification, arithmetical number series, non-verbal series etc. The test will also include questions designed to test the candidate’s abilities to deal with abstract ideas and symbols and their relationship, arithmetical computation and other analytical functions.
General Awareness- This section of test will be designed to juge the ability of the candidate’s general awareness of the environment and its application to society. Knowledge of current events of everyday observation. The test will also include questions relating to India and its neighboring countries especially pertaining to Sports, History, Culture, Geography, Economic scene, General Polity including Indian Constitution, and Scientific Research etc.
