Assam Public Service Commission invites applications from eligible candidates for direct recruitment of Exploration Officer (Grade-II) in the Directorate of Archaeology, Assam under Cultural Affairs Department and Asstt. Research Officer/ Asstt. Planning Officer in Planning Services under Transformation and Development Department, Assam. The candidate must be a permanent resident of Assam.
Exploration Officer- 02 Vacancies in the Directorate of Archaeology, Assam under Cultural Affairs Department
Candidates must possess Post Graduate Degree in Ancient Indian History or Archaeology or Sanskrit or Anthropology with Pre-History as one of the subjects.
Candidates having experience in Archaeological field works in a Government recognized Institution especially in Archaeological Exploration and Excavation will be preferred.
Assistant Research Officer/ Assistant Planning Officer- 09 Vacancies in Planning Services under Transformation and Development Department, Assam
Candidates must possess Masters Degree in any of the subjects as Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Commerce, Business Management, Business Administration, Sociology, Social Work, Anthropology, Social Anthropology of a recognized University.
Age Limit: The candidates should not be less than 21 years of age and not more than 38 years of age as on 01/01/2021. The upper age limit is relaxable as per rules.
