Assam Public Service Commission invites applications from eligible candidates (permanent resident of Assam) for recruitment of Assistant Engineer (Civil) under Water Resource Department, Government of Assam.

Important Dates:

Qualification: Candidates must possess Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from an university recognized by the Government i.e recognized by A.I.C.T.E. OR
Passed part A and B of the Associate Membership Examination of the institution of Engineers (India) and possessing a certificate to that effect from the Institution of Engineers (India) recognized by Government i.e. recognized by A.I.C.T.E
Age Limit: The candidates should not be less than 21 years of age and not more than 38 years of age as on 01-01-2022. However, relaxation in upper age limit applicable as per rules.
Pay Scale: Rs. 30,000/- 110000/- (PB-4) with Grade pay of Rs. 12700/- plus other allowances
Application Fee:
Rs. 197.20/- for SC/ST/OBC/MOBC category candidates
Rs. 297.20/- for General/ EWS Candidate
Rs. 47.20/- for PwBD/ BPL Candidate
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of Screening/Written test and Viva- Voice/ Interview.
