With the recent announcement, the Andhra Pradesh High Court has notified for direct recruitment of Court Master And Personal Secretary to The HON’BLE JUDGES and REGISTRARS in the High Court of Andhra Pradesh, on regular basis. The details of the invited application and the eligibility norms are as under:

Name of the Position: Court Master And Personal Secretary
Number of vacancies: 76 Posts
Academic Eligibility: The applicant must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Arts or Science or Commerce from a recognised university.
The candidates must pass in 180 w.p.m. Speed in English Shorthand examination, conducted by the A.P. State Board of Technical Education, or such other equivalent qualification. However, candidates who have passed 150 w.p.m. in Shorthand English also can apply.
The candidates must pass in Typewriting by Higher Grade examination in English (with a speed of 45 words per minute) conducted by the A.P. State Board of Technical Education or any other qualification.
Candidates possessing Computer Skills will be preferred.

- Date of English Shorthand Writing Examination: 19th November 2022
- Interview: 25th November 2022
- Result: 30th November 2022
Age Requirement: The applicant should not have exceeded maximum age of 42 years as on 01-July-2022 to be eligible to apply. However, relaxation in upper age limit applicable as per rules.
Pay scale Provisions: The applicants selected for Court Master And Personal Secretary posts will be entitled to receive remuneration in the scale Rs. 57100-147760/-
Mode of selection: Candidates will be selected on the basis of Merit, Shorthand English 180 words per minute (3 minutes duration) and 150 words per minute (4 minutes duration) and the transcription to be done on computers within 40 and 45 minutes respectively; followed by an Oral Interview.
The candidates qualified in the Shorthand English Examination comprising of dictation and transcription will be called for oral interview.
The test will be for 100 marks each for Shorthand English 180 w.p.m. and 150 w.p.m. and 20 marks for oral interview.
Examination Fee:
Rs. 500 For SC and ST, PH and Ex-Servicemen candidates
Rs. 1000 For candidates belonging to OC, E.W.S., and BC categories
The examinatlon fee has to be remitted through Demand Draft drawn in favour of Registrar (Administration), High Court of Andhra Pradesh, on State Bank of India, High Court Branch, Nelapadu, Amaravati (IFSC -SBIN0061328).
