WBPSC Advertisement No 09/2022- Public Service Commission, West Bengal will hold a Combined Competitive Examination for recruitment to the posts of Junior Engineers (Civil/ Mechanical/ Electrical) in West Bengal Sub-ordinate Service of Engineers under the various Departments, Directorates, other offices and establishments of Government of West Bengal.
Candidates will be selected on the basis of written examination and personality test.

Commencement of Submission of Online Application: 16th November 2022
Last Date for Submission of Online Application/ Submission of Fee through Online Mode: 7th December 2022
Submission of Fee through Offline Mode: 8th December 2022
Date of Written Exam: April 2023
Eligibility Criteria – Qualification: Candidates must possess Diploma in Civil/ Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering from State Council for Engineering and Technical Education, West Bengal or its equivalent.
Candidates should have ability to read, write and speak in Bengali.
Upper Age Limit: 36 years as on 01-January-2022.
However, The upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC and ST candidates of West Bengal and by 3 years for BC candidates of West Bengal and up-to 45 years for persons with disabilities having physical disability of 40% and above as per government rules.
Pay Scale: Rs.9,000-40,500/- plus Grade Pay of Rs. 4,400/- plus allowances
Application Fee: Rs.160/- plus
(i) For online payment through debit/credit cards: Convenience fee 1% of the examination fee subject to a minimum of Rs. 5/- (Rupees Five) only plus 18% G.S.T. on convenience fee.
(ii) For online payment through net banking: Convenience fee of Rs. 5/- (Rupees Five) only plus 18% G.S.T. on convenience fee.
(iii) For offline payment through bank counter: Service Charge of Rs. 20/- (Rupees Twenty) only.
SC/ ST candidates of West Bengal, and Persons with disabilities (PWD) having physical disability of 40% and above are not required to pay any fee.
How to Apply: Apply Online Interested and eligible candidates are suggested to apply online only through official website of West Bengal Public Service Commission.
Candidates have to first go for “One Time Registration”, and fill up all the required data and uploading scanned photo and signature to get User ID and Password.
However, those candidates who have earlier registered themselves with PSC, West Bengal need not register once again. They can use their previous User Id and Password for login into their respective Dashboards. After login into the Dashboard, candidates has to find the name of the Examination and Apply Online.
