West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (WBSEDCL) has invited applications from eligible candidates for the post of Junior Operator Technician cum Technical Assistant.

Eligibility Criteria: Person applying for post of Junior Operator Technician cum Technical Assistant, must possess Madhyamik or equivalent, and
Trade Certificate of minimum two years duration under NCVT from any ITI under Directorate of Industrial Training, Government of West Bengal in Electronic-Mechanic/ Wireman/ Electrician; OR Trade Certificate of minimum two years duration under NCVT from any ITI under Directorate of Industrial Training, Government of West Bengal in Broad Based Basic Training and Advanced/ Specialized Module in the Electrical Sector; OR National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) of minimum three years duration awarded by Ministry of Labour and Empowerment, Government of India, in the trade Electronic Mechanic/ Wireman/ Electrician.
Age Limit: Age limit of applicants should be between 18 years and 27 years as on 01-January-2018. Upper age is relaxable up to 5 years for SC/ ST and 3 years for OBC.
Pay Scale: Rs. 6,300/- – Rs. 20,200/- (PB) + Rs. 2,600/- (GP) plus other benefits and facilities as per West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company Limited rules.
Application Fee: Rs. 300/- + Bank Service Charge [Application Fees will have to be deposited from 28.12.2018 to 18.01.2019 during banking hours]
SC/ ST/ PH/ any other Exempted Category candidates need not to pay any fees.
Candidates are suggested to pay the processing and examination fee through a triplicate Challan in any branch of United Bank of India.
Applicants may pay the fee through Challan, that may downloaded from website, once have completed the personal details section of online application process.
Candidate are suggested to download the CHALLAN from the official website and take a printout of the same in A4 size paper (There would be three copy of challan, bank copy, candidate’s copy, and WBSEDCL’s copy) and deposit in any branch of United Bank of India along with application fee.
Once submitted the application fee in the bank, don’t forget to receive Transaction ID and SOL ID which are required to be recorded during Online registration in the Online Application Form by the candidates; along with candidate’s copy, and WBSEDCL’s copy of challan.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of Written Test, Computer Proficiency Test and Personal Interview followed by Pre-Employment Medical Test.
Selected candidates will be subjected for one year probation period. Candidates may be confirmed only after successful completion of probation period, subjected to medical fitness test and police verification reports. Candidates must furnish a Rs. 1,00,000 bond with company for minimum period of 4 years.
