Public Service Commission, West Bengal invites online mode of application from eligible candidates for West Bengal Panchayat Audit and Accounts Service (Special Recruitment) Exam 2016 for Panchayat Accounts and Audit Officer posts in West Bengal Audit and Accounts Service.
Panchayat Accounts and Audit Officer: 164 Vacancies (Unreserved – 84, SC – 36, ST – 10, BC (Category-A) – 17, BC (Category-B) – 12, and PH – 05)
Candidates will be selected on the basis of Written Examination (Conventional Type) and Personality Test.

Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce. Candidates must have Ability to read, write and speak in Bengali (not required for those candidates whose mother tongue is Nepali). Candidates having Diploma in Computer Applications from any Institute recognized by the State Government or Central Government or State Council of Technical Education or AICTE, will get preferred.
Age Limit: Minimum 21 years and Maximum 32 years as on 01 January, 2016. Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC and ST candidates of West Bengal and by 3 years for BC candidates of West Bengal and up to 45 years of age for persons with disabilities having disability of 40% and above.
Pay Scale: (Pay Band-3) Rs. 7,100-37,600/- plus Grade Pay of Rs.3,600/- plus D.A., M.A. and H.R.A. as admissible
Examination Fee: Rs. 160/- Candidates are suggested to pay the examination fee through online mode or offline mode through challan. SC/ ST candidates of West Bengal and PWD candidates having physical disability of 40% and above are exempted from paying the examination fee.
