Note: Recruitment of post of Assistant Manager is on temporary basis but likely to be permanent. And all other posts are permanent.

Minimum Qualification Required:
Agriculture Marketing Officer (Administrative)- The candidate must possess a Master’s degree or Honours degree in Economics or Statistics or Commerce or Agriculture from a recognised University;
Assistant Manager– The candidate must possess a degree in Agriculture of a recognised university with Botany or Horticulture as one of the subjects, or a degree in Science of a recognised University with Botany as one of the subjects (preference being given to a person holding Honours degree in Science of a recognised University with Botany as one of the subjects).
Advertisement & Publication Assistant– The candidate must possess Master’s degree in Mass Communication or Public Relations with minimum 50% marks from any UGC recognized University.
Research Assistant – The candidate must possess Master’s degree in Social Sciences with at least 50% marks from any UGC recognized University.
Age Limit As on January 01, 2016: Maximum age limit is 32 years for Agriculture Marketing Officer (Administrative)/ Assistant Manager and 37 years for Advertisement & Publication Assistant/ Research Assistant.
Pay Scale:
Agriculture Marketing Officer (Administrative): (P.B. 4) Rs. 9,000/- Rs. 40,500/- with Grade Pay Rs. 4,700/- per month
Assistant Manager: (P.B. 4) Rs.9,000/- Rs. 40,500/- with Grade Pay Rs. 4,600/- per month
Advertisement & Publication Assistant/ Research Assistant: (P.B. 3) Rs. 7,100/- Rs. 37,600/- with Grade Pay Rs. 3,900/- per month
Mode of Selection: The candidate will be selected based on the Screening Test.
Application Fee: Rs.160/- plus Service Charge
S.C./S.T. candidates of West Bengal and Persons with disabilities (PWD) having physical disability of 40% are exempted from payment of application fee.
