The Recruitment will be purely on fixed remuneration basis on Contract till the date of completion of 13th Finance Commission and will abide “The Uttarakhand High Court Service Rules”.

Pay Scale and Remunerations:
- Court Manager: The selected candidates will be eligible for a fixed contractual remuneration of Rs.75000 per month with no other allowances.
- Stenographer: The selected candidates will be eligible for a fixed contractual remuneration of Rs.10000 per month with no other allowances.
- Clerk: The selected candidates will be eligible for a fixed contractual remuneration of Rs.9000 per month with no other allowances.
- Peon: The selected candidates will be eligible for a fixed contractual remuneration of Rs.7000 per month with no other allowances.
- No other allowances (TA/DA etc.) will be applicable for these posts.
Academic Eligibility Criteria:
- Court Manager: The candidate must have completed a Degree of MBA in Management and should have got at least 5 years of experience or training in systems and process management, IT systems management, HR management or financial systems management. The candidates must have excellent communication skills and should be familiar with Computer Applications. Preference will be offered to candidates having completed a Degree in Law.
- Stenographer: The candidate must have completed Graduation in 10+2+3 system and should have English shorthand speed of 80 words per minute on computer and typing speed of 35 words per minute in English on computer. The candidates must also have Hindi shorthand speed of 80 words per minute on computer and typing speed of 25 words per minute on computer.
- Clerk: The candidate must have completed Graduation in 10+2+3 system and should have typing speed of 35 words per minute on computer in English and 25 words per minute on computer in Hindi.
- Peon: The candidate must have completed Junior High School (8th standard) from recognized Board/ Institution.
Age related norms:
- Court Manager: The candidate must have obtained minimum age of 25 years and should not have exceeded maximum age of 35 years as on the date of publication of advertisement.
- Peon: The candidate must have obtained minimum age of 21 years and should not have exceeded maximum age of 40 years as on the date of publication of advertisement.
- However, upper age for natives of Uttarakhand and those belonging to SC/ ST and PWD categories will be relaxed up to certain extent as per the state government norms.
- Stenographer: The candidate must have obtained minimum age of 21 years and should not have exceeded maximum age of 40 years as on the date of publication of advertisement.
- Clerk: The candidate must have obtained minimum age of 21 years and should not have exceeded maximum age of 40 years as on the date of publication of advertisement.
Tenure of Contract:
a) All appointments to the posts shall be on contract basis for such period as may be specified, to be renewed on performance appraisal.
b) The tenure of contract are subject to the availability of the posts and finances as per relevant government order or till the date of completion of 13th Finance Commission (31-Mar-2015).
c) However, the term may be terminated at any time, if the incumbent is found not-suitable for any reason with proper notice.

- The fees can be remitted through an Indian Postal Order or a Bank Draft, drawn in favor of “The Registrar General, High Court of Uttarakhand” and should be payable at Nainital.
Selection Procedure:
- The selection for these posts will be done through a performance appraisal in the Written Test/ Typing/ Shorthand Test and a Viva-voice Test.
- There will be only Interview/ Viva-Voice for the positions of Court Managers
